If Ancelotti stays, he will probably stay, if not, I think we can say byebye. But it would not be a bad thing. You cannot build a team to win the cl with him. He's the definition of the opposite of teamwork... He has talent but he doesn't help building a 'team'. And PSG has enough money to buy another good 9 like Cavani, Falcao, etc... And if Cricri comes, they wouldn't need a big big name for the 9 position. A young talent could do it!

He is an amazing coach, and Real Madrid doing everything to sign him prove how good he is. I don't think we can find a manager with such talent, class, respect and most importantly, a manager without much ego. What he did with Verratti, Matuidi or Pastore this year is fantastic, he managed to build a group who accepted inner competition (Sakho, Moura, VdW,...), won the Ligue, and went toe to toe against Barcelona. He is a great, great loss.

I hope it isn't a dream season for Arsenal. About 10 years ago they won the league with possibly the greatest team ever seen in English football. To see the team celebrating 4th place like they did was disappointing to say the least. Is that what they are going to be happy with from now on?

Now they can go out there and spend that money they have on players, and get a title contention next season. It is all open next year. I would say Chelsea will start favorites, then United, then City, then Arsenal. But if Arsenal can bring in another CB a RB a ST and maybe another CM, they will be very good as well. Oh they might need a keeper too, but if they spend their money there is no reason they can't mount a challenge. Depends though, Arsene usually does something when his team look half decent to fuck it up ![]() Ancelotti is a "good" manager, but for me he lacks discipline in his squads. His Chelsea team were good, they loved to play for him, loved to train because everything they did was very "relaxed". Ancelotti was more a player than a manager, more of one of the guys than there boss. Which is the reason when Chelsea started to lose under him we couldn't get out of that losing run. (went 2W 4D 6L from Nov>Jan) and he changed nothing.

I quite like Arsene, so i hope he gets it right. Spending big for the first time in a while pretty much says "its do or die this year".

Plus we won't be losing any core players this time. The only players that look to be out the door this offseason are: -Sagna (not a guarantee, but he has one year left on his deal, and is apparently a target for PSG and Monaco). I'm expecting Carl Jenkinson to finally get a legit shot at being the first choice RB and for us to get an accomplished player, much like with Nacho Monreal. -Fabianski. His contract is expiring. The players I've seen most linked to replace him are Hamburg's Rene Adler and Stuttgart's Sven Ulreich. -Arshavin. His contract is expiring and well..he's been a leech on the wage bill for a while now. -Johan Djourou seems like he will be sold, because he says he wants to leave. He's finally getting consistent games at Hannover, and he probably won't find many games next season with Koscielny and Mertesacker being in top form, and especially not if Vermaelen can regain his form. Maurouane Chamakh says he wants to leave too, so that's even more good news. On May 20 2013 15:14 Maenander wrote: And not to forget, the fifth 4th place finish since 2006. Right on target, fans must be in heaven! Another dream season for Arsenal! It's pretty impressive that they have continued to qualify for the UCL when they built a £400m stadium and got ZERO public funding for it. And now the club is in great position with sponsorship and TV deals increasing, a stadium that holds 22k more people than the old one, a massive new kit deal in 2014, and United, City, and Chelsea all getting new managers. Edit: Those UCL qualifiers are gonna be tough this year, just look at the potential teams that await: Arsenal, Schalke, Milan, Real Sociedad/Valencia (both have 62 points with 2 games left), Lyon/St. Etienne/Lille, Zenit St. Petersburg, PSV, Fenerbahce, etc.

At the time it seemed like I was the only one without RvP haha.

I also want to point out what a miracle FC Augsburg performed. They had 9 points after the first half and managed to get up to 33 points in the end and stay in the Bundesliga. Congrats. Bavarian Football HO!
