No not at all. Are you crazy? This is a game where you play the ball not the man. If you take out the man without getting the ball you foul. If you get the ball and the only main point of contact between you and the opponent is the kinetic energy transferred through the football, it's not a foul.

That just leads to extremely dangerous tackling. Whether the ball is hit or not, dangerous play is a foul.

See the way I see it is that they give reds for dangerous LOOKING tackles, because you might get the ball but if you fail then you injure people and it's terrible. But still, from a technical standpoint, I'll never be against an accurate tackle that gets the ball.

What's the most surprising thing is that these clubs aren't telling their players DON'T LUNGE WITH TWO FEET at all costs. You see it all the time despite the fact that it's almost always a straight red.

these footballers today aren't exactly the brightest bunch are they? I mean there's only a handful of players who actually have degree's/gcse's/a levels. The only one i know of to note is Lampard who has like 8 A*s and can speak Latin or something xD But yeah exactly what SC said, any 2 footed lunge is going to get you sent off no matter if u win the ball fairly or not, FIFA has told everyone to get it cut out of the game, so thats what has been done. Mike is a very strict referee as many said on the first red card for Kocesileny, he was always going to send Kompany off for that one.

You also have to take into consideration the position of the ball lol. If it's on someone's head, you can't try and kick it, otherwise it's hella dangerous play ![]() Even if it has a logic behind it, it's pretty obvious your way of thinking isn't really applied to football by refs nowadays. It's important to protect the players, their legs are their jobs and they are some very expensive individuals too xD

Barcelona this year is fucking insane. 55/57 points. The team hast lost 2 points in 19 matches of league. And his playstyle is a lot more fun to watch that last year. Athletico Madrid with 44 points, any other season they would have been a title contender, and probably they would be in 1st position. PD: Betis coach, Pepe Mel is a great coach.

I dont agree with it either he played the ball, but with so much going on about injuries naturally theyre going to start calling that stuff even if he does get all ball. Its a bit tricky, I dont really know what the best thing to do is tbh.

Lovely to see a whole stadium singing. Best one in England is probably Lpool singing ynwa. What's the best stadium group singing spectacle in any other countries I wonder?

Also Ibrahimovic firin' shots >__>; “Messi may have four Golden Balls, but I don’t have to get on a box to buy a chocolate bar in a vending machine,” Ibrahimovic is cited as saying by Argentinean Canchallena website. "As for Cristiano Ronaldo, he’s a privileged spectator, who only watches how Messi receives all his awards. He doesn’t deserve to be in the top three, there are at least ten people better than him." http://rt.com/sport/football/messi-ronaldo-ibrahimovic-scandal-926/
