Brad is 41, Hugo is excellent (i got the impression many british football fans don't seem to understand how good he is), i don't see how Lloris couldn't be titular in 1 ot 2 games. Brad is a very good (old) goalkeeper, Hugo is world class, already one of the best keeper in PL. i see everywhere on forums "oh, lloris is surely good, but let him the time to adapt to the PL, this is another level, this will be tough in the first matchs". They are talking about shit, if you take Neuer you don't let him the time to adapt, same with Casillas or Buffon, i don't see why Lloris have to take 6 months to understand how to jump from a british field. Agreed 100%. Friedel played great against Norwich so AVB couldn't justify removing him for Lloris as first choice keeper immediately, but it will happen in 1-2 weeks. Since the Europa league and league cup are both starting soon, Friedel will still get to play. He may leave in January because he's good enough to start for most teams and Cudicini is a fine backup, but Lloris is world class and the clear #1.

Also we can consider Lloris didn't have his best season last year, he made 1 or 2 mistakes (i never saw lloris make a mistake baefore) and his incredible saves were more rare. But he was not helped by a catastrophic defense after the Lovren injury, he played all the season with one of the worst defense in L1: Umtiti (17 yo), kone who came from 3rd div in 2011 and Cris who is now the most perempted footballer on a pitch. He was very angry at his defense last year and this could explain his average performance. I think he will be happy to play in a team who don't let him alone everytimes a danger comes, e will be exeptionnal with spurs.

Uzbekistan have become so impressive over the last years.
I hope they can qualify for 2014

Go Germany, trash them Austrians!
Sadly, no Götze (over Müller) or Gündogan (instead of Kroos), but at least Schmelzer can play. Funny thing: Austria fields more Bundesliga players than Germany.

44 minutes Reus was invisible. And suddenly: Goal :D

everytime the same with the lucky germans .. :/

why lucky? austria gets plenty of chances and doesn't use any. germany gets 1-2 chances and makes a goal. you can call it undeserved, not lucky.
but austria is playing pretty good and organized, really showing what they learned in the bundesliga

Jesus, take fucking Schmelzer off. It doesn't matter who you put there, it can't get any worse.

England's had several great chances. Tom Cleverly has been poor for United and the National team =/ Martin Tyler keeps praising his positioning, but you've got to finish for your positioning to be worth a damn
