The giveaway has ended! Thanks so much to all who participated! <3
Hello TeamLiquid.net! Last year I was able to go to all three of the Major League Gaming events that had StarCraft 2 tournaments. While I was there, I had a couple of mousepads handy and decided to round up some pro players and nab some signatures for souvenirs! Well, luckily for you, I've decided to give all the people who weren't able to come to those live events a chance to win some autographed goodies from their favorite players!
Watch the video for the details and instructions on how to win!
If you watched the whole thing, you'll see that I'm also giving away a copy of StarCraft 2! Unfortunately, I am limiting that giveaway to United States mailing addresses only, as I've already purchased it and can't justify the shipping costs to other countries. In the future, I've realized that I can giveaway a CD key, and just have the winner download their copy of the game from Battle.net. That will have to be a future giveaway, I suppose!
But anyway, back to the mousepads, which anyone in the world can win! The signatures on each mousepad are as follows:
Root Gaming CatZ drewbie KiWiKaKi SLush qxc CauthonLuck (on hiatus / retired) SUGGY (Now on compLexity Gaming)
Team Liquid HuK Ret Tyler
Evil Geniuses iNcontroL IdrA LzGaMeR Machine Axslav Strifecro Colbi (A team manager of EG, also played at MLG Dallas!) iNkA (Now on Lazarus Gaming)
Here are the quick links to each prize's video! All you have to do is subscribe to my channel, AskJoshy and leave a comment on these individual videos:
Giveaway ends March 15th, winners will be picked on March 16th.
For those of you who aren't sure if you want to subscribe, let me tell you a little bit about my channel.
I posted my first StarCraft 2 video from the beta one year ago today (Feb. 19th). Since then, I've commentated over 250 games between pro-level players in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. All of my new casts are in 1080p quality, they incorporate picture-in-picture for moments that are too hectic for just one screen, and have annotations from one game in a series to the next so you don't have to fumble around YouTube searching for game 3 in a best of 5. Recently, I've been excited to bring you best of 7 showmatches like qxc vs. Destiny and iNcontroL vs. drewbie. I hope to do many more of those in the near future. =)
When I go to live events, I interview as many players as I possibly can! I've interviewed HuK, IdrA, Tyler, drewbie, TT1, Gretorp, TLO, and more. I cannot wait to go back to MLG Dallas in April to do it all again!
I've also done a ton of giveaways in the past for my lovely subscribers:
I plan to do more in the future with beta keys, collector's editions, and more memorabilia from the pros at Major League Gaming events!
I do hope that you'll subscribe for a chance to win some awesome goodies, but I hope even more that you'll stick with me for the months to come! Good luck, have fun!
I think it is cool what you are doing. A future suggestion. Make an auction on ebay and use the money you get for a showmatch. The 1 who gets it can suggest some guys and you try to get them...
To be honest, if I won one of these I wouldn't actually USE it. You're sure to rub the autographs off if you do. This is more of a souvenir/memorabilia/collector's item than a good mousepad. But, it does say it works "for ALL mice"!
man, im not really down with signed mousepad that i didnt get signed personally...sigh, just not the same. but I'D TOTALLY send you money beforehand for the shipping of starcraft 2 copy (been wanted another for a while) to canada. thanks.

I'd hate to think what you could possibly be implying ><
Thanks for the initiative Josh! Always a fan
You know this irks me too. I understand the idea behind it. Yes, in the long run the guy plans to have a lot of followers/subscribers to make something out of it. I don't know, I guess we have to wait and see what he does in the future. :/

That argument doesn't make sense. He's done giveaways before, and his subs are still under 40k. If he suddenly jumped, theoretically, you could make that argument, but that's not the case.

That is why I said, "I guess we'll have to wait and see."
Just watched the first iNcontroL vs drewbie match, and I just wanted to say the picture-in-picture stuff is flippin' brilliant. Keep up the good work man!
I'm going to send a message on YouTube to the winner, I don't have everyone's e-mail address. =P If you have your YouTube set to notify you when you receive a PM, you will get an e-mail. =)

Actually I just wondered about how much good one of these sponsored threads do for someone(They are billed on a weekly basis afaik?), as for him getting more youtube subscribers, I honestly just think he just wants a shot at a youtube partnership.

I've had a partnership since November, just FYI. I made this sponsored thread because I wanted to respect TeamLiquid's rules about advertising, and I know that there's a large population of TL that has never seen my casts before. This is a good way to get some fresh eyes on my content while at the same time giving them a chance to win something cool. =)

Lol it is the internet --> Josh Suth offers to giveaway some really cool signed mouse pads..
Internet thinks he is up to something no good - some conspiracy to screw us all over i imagine?
If you haven't watched his casts and this is what makes you do it - then awesome, he is a great caster that deserves more credit.. turning this into "oh it irks me that he wants subsribers through a giveaway" is pretty silly the more notable casters in the community = the more sc2 content that gets produced.. to me that sounds great
I entered them all, of course, and left little tidbits about why each would be cool to get.
ROOT: Awesome because I really liked CauthonLuck and was devastated when he "quit."
Team Liquid: This is a no-brainer.
EG: I've really warmed up to IdrA since the beta and iNcontroL is a total badass (watching his archived stream right now!).
The game: I know several gamers who are resisting SC2 (probably because we're college students and it costs money) and have some friends who are starting to get into gaming (including my female roommate). It would be awesome to share my passion with someone!
Yes, I know these either (a) don't help at all or (b) have a negligible effect, but I felt like putting it and figured it might be cool for each person to explain at least one reason why they'd love to win each thing (because, really, if we explained it all we'd never finish).

I'll be honest: I'm either (a) lazy about looking for new casters or (b) just don't want to because of how bad some of them are (man I'm doing the "a/b" thing a lot right now).
I have, however, heard your name before, and I'll be sure to check some of your stuff out! Someone who is doing so much for the community is good in my books.

Well even if you don't like his casts (which I do, in case anyone thinks I am implying I don't) then his channel is still great for interviews from MLG. I don't mean to talk down on the casts, especially when they are so well done with the picture and picture, but I think the best content on his channel are the interviews. Maybe it's just because there aren't too many places to find interviews with many of the players, but regardless I find them very enjoyable and it is a great way to actually get to know the players which I feel is crucial as a spectator.
