You're right, it was the M7 that didn't. My mistake.

Probably wouldn't get the M8 because the lack of expandable memory is disappointing. Also I didn't know you can't replace the battery on Galaxies anymore, that's super lame. Alexstraza is for control Mage/Warrior decks (no other class runs her with any frequency). If you want to play Freeze Mage, it's fine: Freeze Mage is decent in the meta, outside of Warriors and the armoring up, but that's w/e since they're all Patrons and aren't running 20 free armor/health up (which is what really shafts Mage vs Control Warrior; I've won a handful of games in that matchup total, which generally involved me being able to stall out enough to draw my entire deck and throw absolutely everything at his face).

Then if the game goes late Mind Control is just game-ending since you get either a Sea Giant or Deathwing in addition to taking whatever your opponent has. This is probably my favorite Brawl so far. It encourages a near-pure spell deck which means most classes are going to pull out spells that haven't been seen in serious play for ages. The sad thing about freeze mage is that it does not drop many minions. So all deck playing against become to slow to rush it which also is augmented with the fact that every clear gives you board presence. I play basically a standard freeze mage with bgh and 2 flamestrikes and pyro no antonidas. It counter every other "good deck. Freeze Mage is good but I think you're overselling it a bit. At the very least Druid probably hard-counters it if they run Healing Touch and/or Tree of Life. Any idea if Counterspell stops the minion from spawning?

Any idea if Counterspell stops the minion from spawning? 1) Druid never runs Tree of Life, and you still have enough burn in any freeze mage deck to kill a Druid running it. 2) Freeze Mage runs enough burn to get around Healing Touch/multiple healbots. It's just a matter of getting an extra turn to play said burn (either Antonidas or Malygos or Thalnos->frost bolt/ice lance combo [if you run the sorc apprentice variant, Thalnos->double sorc, x2fireballs/frost bolt/ice lance is 28 damage in 1 turn]). Druid is a hard matchup, but not because of the healing (it's because Druid with board control can burst you down before you get the time to combo them, and they usually run Loatheb).

Nah its better than you expect because every time you clear you put out threats unlike regular freeze mage. This is deck the I am using. The hardest match so far was priest that got 2 iceblocks, flamestrike and blizzard. Edit: I am currently 6-0 with freeze mage, Brawl always has a lot of scrubs but 3 of those I had poor answers.

We're talking about the brawl, where Tree of Life not only heals you to full but spawns a legendary minion. It doesn't really matter what's never done in constructed, Recycle is potentially good. To be clear I'm not saying Freeze Mage is bad, just that it isn't the undisputed champion of this Brawl. What I've heard and seen so far is that Priest, Druid and Mage are the triumvirate of power classes this time around. In Priest's case it's because it's so easy to get extreme value from its cards both early, mid, and late. For Druid it's because you get so many free minions that Savage Roar is always a supreme threat. Nobody should need to ask why Mage is up there.
