There's also an overarching storyline of hate with the new reddit CEO chairman pao who is responsible for "denying freedom of speech" by shutting down the subreddits that preach hate but people are arguing it's shit because there are some terrible ones left that are ignored and others are saying it's shit cz freedom of speech used to be normal here! The new CEO also doesn't know how to use reddit or something irrelevant and wants to turn reddit into a profit machine instead of the "people's shitfest" anyway now there's a petition to remove her from CEO or something and reddit is whoring the karma wagon that is the Victoria firing. They also found out that the person that started the reddit secret santa thing was fired so chairman pao hates christmas.
