I cracked a Ragnaros. He seems really really random, but probably still worth running?

Oh damn. Maybe I just need to unlock more Druid cards. Most of the time, he comes down and eats a 2/1, 2/2 dork and I still get run over by Rogue/Hunter weenies.

you just need swipe/starfall for AoEing small creatures, normally by turn 8 they have lost momentum and don't have all that many cards in the deck and rag can potentially kill 1 card a turn just by himself

That deck prob went 10+ wins. Second loss rushed down by a warlock because, what do you know, no consecrates. 3rd loss vs a paladin with a far better deck. So I'm happy. did you have avenging wrath or blessing of kings because those spells win games
I had 2 blessing of kings, luckily. The real redeeming quality of the deck was a lot of buffs, but having 0 clear it basically was 100% creatures and buffs doing work, which makes dealing with 1 really powerful card, or a really early rush extremely tough to deal with for a pally.

Hi5 EXACT same thing. Sure we're not twins? You can be my tumor.

The little tumor that could. 2 fun games from that arena deck though was: a 22-1 flesheating ghoul against a mage. "fuck your shit, mage." and a 16-6 raid leader. (choice was a mugo'shan, murloc, or raid leader in draft)

Druid is pretty brutal because the basic set a cards lack a bunch of the good stuff (wrath, druid of the claw, etc.), so it's normal to struggle at first; Rogue, Warlock and in a way Hunter (because lack of Beasts for synergy) has similar troubles, while Mage and Priest are probably the best "basic" decks because of how good these class cards are.

I guess I'm cancer after all LOL
how does a raid leader get to 16/6 from 2-2?
I have had tons of success in arena with frothing berserkers, playing like 2 or getting 1 to like 14 attack with whirlwind stupidly early. I guess in constructed when people have spells more consistently they are less effective, but their stats are pretty stronk if any trades at all happen

Everyone is cancer, in the end.

Blessing of kings makes it a 6-6. Abusive sergeant makes it a 8-6. Then that 5 mana card (forgot the name b/c i never use it) that doubles a minions attack, making him a 16-6. That double a minions attack was literally the first card in my draft, and the other 2 rare choices i forgot what they were, but they were horrendously bad.

Looking at how quickly a flesh-eating ghoul gets buffed when you can it around shit like harvest golem and/or a taunt, I wonder if Hunter decks tend to run it a lot, seeing how they already do this kind of thing with Hyena/Buzzard and Snake trap/UTH.

In my mage arena run, my opponent played one. He had a couple other creatures, and I think I had 3 or 4. In my hand I had ice lance and polymorph, and a couple other creatures. I decided to screw around with him a little. He got the ghoul buffed up a little the turn he played it. My turn I froze it with ice lance and played a creature or two. He was able to keep clearing my stuff, but I then drew into a frost nova. Decided to just freeze his ghoul again and continue on. I think he got it to like 9 or 10 attack before I morphed it and pinged it. He rage quit.
