I've heard some of the alternate soundtracks and seen the new levels and the depth they've added to the game. It looks so fucking good I'm really happy I bought it last year. Maybe I'll stream that too once my month of hell is over. | ||

I don't like it when you literally have to fight the game engine to maximize stuff. also I hate games that randomly decides what gets leveled up and by how much (I don't want to spend my time manipulating the game engine) | ||

I think I only beat it like twice, maybe 3 times out of like 200-250 attempts, I was pretty fucking terrible too lol. | ||

It's easier to make fights that are interesting and challenging, and not too difficult or too easy when the levels/resources available to the player at a given point in the game only fluctuate within a small potential range. When you have random battles that can be fought potentially limitlessly, it's really hard to create encounters that are interesting to someone who fought them meticulously while not making it too hard for someone who skipped fights fairly liberally. I enjoy farming too, but there's definitely a lot of upside to limited resource availability in an RPG. I get that It just annoys me. especially in action games where I beat the whole game and don't have all the abilities unlocked then I have to stop playing for fun and start playing to try to get the highest score each round etc. I just wish on the second playthrough they'd let you start with stuff you got from your first. that's just a pet peeve of mine though | ||
