You're just being unreasonable. See in Galt's case, working in the video game industry has the potential to really work out well for him. Sure it might suck, but there is the very real chance that working there could become his dream job. With your analogy, we have no reason that good could even come from it because logically it doesn't make sense. (Unless you're into pain). But for Galt's case, the potential is there. I mean, I even applied for a job at EA Games up in Burnaby because it sounded like an awesome place to work. Lots of people told me that the EA Games there is a pretty sweet set up as far as jobs go. And I know more than one person who posts here (not mentioning any names, and it's not Galt) has dreams of working for a video game company. If it sounds like I got super defensive, that's not what I was going for. I just saw an opportunity for a free rant and I went for it. + Show Spoiler + I didn't get the job at EA. Instead, I got an internship working for the Federal Government. Success?

I think its better to get a job you enjoy than somethings you dislike, but you should expect taking a job in the game industry being shitty relatively under payed and an forcing you to work overtime. If you like it enough for that then go for it otherwise just get salty over you job like Req and watch kpop while QQing in OT. My mouse has started double clicking. Anyone know a fix or is it RIP?
