Was using a pitchfork to mix mulch and soil. The edge on part of the handle got underneath the corner of the nail aaaand twist. | ||

This... sounds like an abnormal pitchfork. I've never used a pitchfork that I could describe as having an edge. I also suspect that you're using said pitchfork abnormally, unless it's a weird design I'm unfamiliar with. | ||
