+ Show Spoiler + What a shitty fucking week, one co-worker decides to go to Coachella, skipping out on work for thursday and friday, other co-worker got into a car accident. Required to work Thursday morning, right after a Wednesday evening shift. Then work today's morning shift, which was supposed to be my day off. Did I mention, morning shift is normally a 2 man job, had to solo. Okay, not that bad. BUT NOPE. fucking last minute stat draw today, right after I shutdown the entire lab. So i gotta get the entire lab up and running again, and now I've waited an hour past when I was supposed to get off, waiting for the fucking blood sample to get here. Then that shit's gotta spin for like 15 minute, and then another 20 fucking minutes to run the fucking tests, then another 10 minutes to fucking shut the lab down again. ALL I WAS FUCKING LOOKING FORWARD TO AFTER THE SCHEDULING CHANGE WAS FUCKING OPEN MAT AT 6-8pm TODAY. BUT FUCKING NOOOOOOO. That being said, here I am on a Friday evening doing lots of Scheme programming. I probably won't be leaving the university for another five hours, which will bring me to midnight. So if you want to rant some more feel free to do so. I'll happily read them and try and try to leave positive comments to make you feel better! You do have tomorrow off, right? | ||

Yeah I got tomorrow off, and sunday off at least, still fucking sucks balls. I normally work sunday, which is a nice shift since I can usually just watch na lcs and shitpost dank memes in lr thread, and nothing is ever going on in sunday, so I'm never missing out on social events or bjj on sunday. But company decided to keep the lab closed this weekend to avoid paying me overtime to work saturday and sunday. I don't normally work saturday, but I'm pretty sure my coworker is still injured from her car accident, so if they wanted the lab open this week I would be working both days. Not to mention I have to open monday morning next week, rip. Which also includes having to do the weekends maintenance shit that'll carry over to monday. | ||

I also LOVE how expansive the game is, so glad they didn't go down the DS2 road of nothing being connected. The game is significantly more engaging that way. But seriously, why did they tone down the difficulty so much? It makes me sad. Clearly I haven't been posting enough recently. I need to do better. Can confirm, does suck Edit OHH MA GAWD MORDEK BABY IS SO CUTE My first death in Dark Souls came way into the game(no I didn't die to Asylum Demon). I definitely think Bloodborne is a more difficult game, but you're going to naturally handle the beginning of the game better having played through a previous Souls game(Demon's Souls felt brutal to start because the combat was so foreign, Blue Knights felt like bosses, Red Knights felt impossible, now they'd be just mobs you can't mindlessly rush down). | ||

Also need a new chair, just looking at office chairs on amazon since like Needforseat and shit is so expensive and I could get a full leather, executive ergonomic chair for less than those, lol. | ||

4 stomps in a row littered with people misspicking ("oh I didn't see your smite, well you go support now"-misspicks), playing a champion for the first time, counterpicking themselves (as in last pick Fizz to go vs Quinn, result wasn't pretty) straight-up raging in champ select, and other happy things later, I'm reminded of what an actual friday evening in League is supposed to be like. The frustrating part isn't the automatic promo failure or the loss of LP or anything, but that feeling of having wasted ~5 hours of my (limited this week) time. I didn't have fun, it was a chore past the 1st one, and I kept hoping and seeing these hopes crushed. Then there's this wei post and, well, 5 hours doesn't seem that long. | ||

Yup, I don't think I've seen you mention any duration in your post? It's just that the feeling of having wasted my time is one of the most frustrating things for me (sometimes downright infuriating making me moody for the rest of the day), and I've been asking myself "Why haven't I been asleep for 2 hours already? I didn't do anything productive nor did I experiment any form of enjoyment the last few hours". But I didn't spend the entire day doing that, nor for something that's been forced upon me, so I can't really complain in this situation. (I mean I'll still find a way to be grumpy even if I decide to play tomorrow and go 5-0 because I'll only have undone my stupidity of queueing this evening and it'd have taken ~10 hours total, so maybe I should just not play.) | ||
