plz, you would have to be an edgelord master to say the kind of shit he was saying back then.
Meh Nietzsche is probably one of the most misunderstood philosophers, because his pleb ideas (God is dead, Twilight of the Idols, The Antichrist, Ubermensch, etc.) have mass appeal and resonance with the kinds of people who are wont to comment on the topic on internet forums, while his actually interesting works and ideas (Birth of Tragedy - Apollonian and Dionysian, Geneaology of Morality, Eternal Return, etc.) don't actually get discussed/read. Thus Spake Zarathustra is a very interestingly written work but literally all anyone talks about is the Ubermensch part.

he's just a nerd and made excuses
rest of that shit was super smart no wonder literary phages think they are smart just becaues they read stuff a smart person said
Actually there were points in time when Nietzsche probably did not think you should get laid. Young Nietzsche was pretty much a disciple of Schopenhauer who hold that one ought to deny one's will in every way possible. Later on he changed his views from this position significantly (but you can still see the Schopenhauer roots).

I mean, I want to talk about how great Tom Cruise's acting discography is, but all people talk about is scientology.

that was just his act of rebellion against the world to prove how smart he was he couldn't even hear his sisters voice what a pussy seems like he wasnt that much in control of himself if he can't even interact with his family or try to understand them

Man, Wrath was awesome. I wish I had time for WoW.
Never forget Ulduar. Loved the setup for it in Storm Peaks too. The atmosphere in that raid was just epic. Also helps that Yogg+0 and Firefighter were so cool
I'm just a sucker for that type of landscape - tundras and mountainous regions like that are so cool to me. I also liked the one mountainy region in Pandaria a lot, whatever the name was.

My favorite zone. was that one as well! a beautiful desolation to it.
Daw my younger brother gave me a 3ds stylus that actually fits it's little stylus slot so it won't fall out now. I can finally forgive him for breaking my broodwar cd when he was a kid.
oh man that feeling when the breakdown comes on when you are peeing in the washroom beside your sound system and you accidentally piss all over while throwing your hands up. favorite song the past two weeks: + Show Spoiler +

Wow, I got really panicky when I saw over 10 pages of OT that I needed to catch up on, and I got ready for the long haul. Fortunately, half of it was silly religious OT discussion and so I was able to pull a Wave and essentially ignore it while my eyes glazed over. You guys always post more when I'm not around. So disappointing.
Also, I played Bloodbourne for ~1.5 hours yesterday, hooray! It lived up to the hype.
I love the spooky aesthetic and the lifesteal mechanic. The game feels sharp and looks gorgeous. However, I have issues with the game being too easy. In a single hour, I was able to reach Vicar Amelia. I only died twice to Father Whatshisass (he really sucks against gun parries), and I didn't die at all against the giant dog thing. I only got two cracks at Vicar Amelia before I had to leave, but I got her down to half both times; she doesn't seem to hard. If anything it's difficult to tell when I'm in range though.
I also LOVE how expansive the game is, so glad they didn't go down the DS2 road of nothing being connected. The game is significantly more engaging that way.
But seriously, why did they tone down the difficulty so much? It makes me sad.
What about a person who tells people to be good, rational and kind hearted? You don't need to invoke the divine or the supernatural to either suggest or demand that others act in accordance with those rules. I would even say that invoking the divine (and, presumably, the possible punishments or rewards the deity offers) to assert these are rules one should live by is less honest, less effective and less permanent than engaging in an honest philosophical discussion of what kind of society we want to live in.
For the educated willing to engage in this discussion, this is true. For the poor, uneducated, hungry, and desperate, a purely philosophical discussion isn't likely to be a strong enough motivator for moral behavior. Thats how religion began.
there's a reason why all famous philosophers were privileged upper middle class white men.
Really? I'm pretty sure there are famous Philosophers who aren't white people.
Lets ask Ghandi, he's a highschool kid, he might know a couple.
Who the hell is Ghandi?
Clearly I haven't been posting enough recently. I need to do better.

Welp, TurtleBeach Teamchat won't be long at the MLG dota 2 event. PPD heard the crowd laughing and called out the location of Empire's offlane Morphling.
