Yeah, the issue is not the series having spoilers, it's the series' audience being too large (and including too any "hype-ers" because it was the "in" series to watch when it was announced and got so big) not to behave like a herd of monkeys throwing spoilers and expletives a la OMG, NO WAY or whatever to pad them, about everywhere and especially in public places.
(Yup, it sounds quite haughty and all. Then again noone has qualms trashing reddit's hivemind.)
To stay in the religious topic, Frudgey you don't have to play Jesus and sacrifice yourself to read/watch Jojo's for all those who asked about manga and ignored it.

Need to ask if yangers or someone else familiar with these different rulesets will help me out this weekend or something. I've got ideas. Like, is there any ruleset that differentiates armor (reduce damage taken by X) and defense (chance to dodge)?
inb4 this turns into another "soon" (tm) thing.

Lots of TL "soon" PnP projects actually happen.
Then again, you have an XCOM run to finish, iirc. :D

Well D&D does differentiate damage reduction and AC, and there are "armor grants DR" variants in 3.5. I don't personally use them because 3.5's mechanics make them feel clunky but I don't know how they'd work with 5e.

That will be a long-term commitment (few months, maybe a year at this pace, at the minimum), unless I decide to just say fuck it and start doing it offstream and skip to the juicy bits

at the end of the day, I could just say fk it and just do it without trying to make changes to the ruleset, but i want to see how much i can do here.

One of the best intros and one of the best endings of any game. I just watched it again on Youtube earlier and it still gives me shivers. Yeah I posted about that a couple days ago. I can't watch any more of it. And I started it with the passover comment. No there's nothing wrong with most of the conversation. You still didn't care to explain to us the symbolic meaning of the passover, despite that being the main point of the discussion in the first place. You can keep arguing that people will create their deities so promiscuously that theism will stay with us forever regardless of what anyone does, but that is besides all the points I've made in this discussion so far. I never said I was going to explain the symbolic meaning behind passover itself. Despite going to a religious school my knowledge and commentary on the matter is far beneath what I would have been able to explain years ago, and I acknowledge my own shortcomings in being unable to defend my faith, though it doesn't change my feeling that I shouldn't have to. You don't have to, but it'd be entertaining if you did :p I won't pester you (any further) though

now now lets not start sucking each others dicks quite yet
also i love how every religious argument oscillates from inane to pointlessly philosophical its like bible said XX-->bible sucks lol hurr durr sky magician-->technically blah blah blah deism blah blah blah-->argument about deism
dude deism doesn't prove shit there are an infinite possible number of gods and basically one to a few possible of them are anywhere close to *insert religion X here* so the probability of your book being right is something like 1 in an infinity unless you have some kind of good evidence other than a religion which is startlingly similar in concepts to every other religion which is apparently made up completely unlike yours
if you hadn't noticed i like to stick on the inane side of the fence ill leave the philosophy to the prog personally the idea that the religion that satisfies me and in general most people most being the one that's right is far too convenient when you're trying to argue its more likely when is it nowhere near the most likely or simple explanation what I mean by what satifies people the most is the promise of punishment for the dickholes and eternal pussy and cloudjobs for the good guys i'm not big into eternal punishment but them jews had anger issues back then with all the murdering of their people chopping of dicks and general nikshimi

Working the morning shift at my job has made me realized how fucking slow my co-workers are... Normally 2 people work in the morning weekday shifts, and I usually have to finish off whatever they don't do when I arrive in the afternoon to evening shift. Then these last two days I've had to work morning shift alone, and I've gotten everything done long before I would normally show up for afternoon shift. AND I still have time to shitpost here.

fuck im too dumb to try to say anything stupid because i accidentally say something somewhat smart but unoriginal
also I think the so called "need to worship" comes from more like a social bonding thing where if you all find someone you respect you can kinda bond on that and if you group together with more people you become stronger think of how powerful religious groups are purely because of numbers and zeal
its like trying to break the ice with some girl and then you're like oh do you like the bigdickbangers? and she's like I LOVE THE BIGDICK BANGERS I BANG TO THEM EVERY WEEKEND and you're like sick lets go see some bigdickbanging on friday ill pick you up at 8 and everythings great until THAT SLUT RUINS YOUR LIFE FUCK YOU SARAH
anyway that was a side track point is all the caveman who sat in caves smoking weed and watching netflix got rekt by all the belieber caveman purging them 1 by 1
