And yeah sung moon you're right. I'm honestly not entirely sure why I have such an aversion to constructed formats but it's definitely present in HS too; I just don't enjoy copying someone's deck and playing it along with 18000 other people. I feel like there is a lot more to discuss in terms of modern/standard (especially since PT DTK is happening this weekend) but the money and interest level for me just kinda kill it for me a little.

I'll probably look like an idiot for saying this, but I do feel Limited formats require more skills, such as better fundamentals, being able to read the draft table, designing the best deck from a random card pool, being able to read/play around for specific/popular cards, etc.
Constructed is being able to read what the metagame is like, coming in with the right deck/cards/sideboard to fight what you anticipate etc.

I don't know if I'd say more skill, but somewhat of a different set of skills with some overlap. There's a slightly increased luck factor as well I feel since your deck is only as good as your pool.
I think MB or Cixah could probably comment on that a little more.
