Should show my mom that and put things in perspective... I 'bought' my mom's old car recently and at dinner the other night she noticed that there was a big scratch on the rear passenger side door, along with an area off exposed rust with the paint coming off. She yells at me 'WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE CAR?! THE WHOLE SIDE IS RUINED!' No mom, it's not ruined, and I didn't do anything, some moron obviously sideswiped me in the parking lot.

Could you then just match up the two damaged cars and figure out who the guy is?

Could you then just match up the two damaged cars and figure out who the guy is? Very unlikely anyone would be in a position to even make that connection (multiple insurance companies, both parties provide limited information). Better chance if there's some kind of surveillance or something. We actually tried to do that on my college campus since someone sideswiped my car bad enough the passenger door wouldn't open but couldn't find any cars with convincing enough damage, i.e. driver side front bumper damage with blueish paint transfer etc.

My copy of MS Office (2013) won't work. The programs work if I run them in office safe mode, or if I boot the computer in safe mode. I've done every troubleshooting thing I can think of. Checked for add ons affecting it (don't have any), updated windows, cleaned my registry, checked to see if it works in a different user profile (it doesn't), ran the relevant repair tools, checked for bad hard drive sectors, and so on. And here's what makes it real magical. If I uninstall Office and reinstall it, it works for about 12 hours and then breaks again. I was on the phone with Microsoft support yesterday and they didn't have a clue, I'm supposed to have a call from a "tier 2" technician today.
