yeah I go through phases where I think that reddit's good at things other than aggregating content and apparently it's late enough that I've gone nuts and tricked myself again
sidenote: I've always thought that reddit comments complaining about downvotes should be downvoted, much like TL's martyr rule. I think that reddit comments would be moderately improved if more people followed this policy

I played alto from 4th to 11th grade. Gave it up senior year because I would have had to have lunch every other day, fuck that noise. I do want to start playing it again but I fear an apartment complex is not the right place for it haha. Freshman year my high school band played in the Macy's day parade. Straight duckets that was. They said it was gonna be a cold thanksgiving, turned out to be like 60. I bought under armor for that occasion. SWEATY BALLS HOT DAYUM!
With a soft reed and small mouthpiece being in an apartment complex should be no hinder to some practice, getting into it again. When you want to go harder reed/larger mp you can keep to melidious practice parts, makes it alot easier on the ears ^^
Another ex-alto player reporting in. Played for the first time in years months ago when my high school ska band decided to have a silly reunion in my friend's basement. Good (read: bad at music) times.

Nah man I'm in Indiana, not even the same time zone I have a friend in Chicago but he works all weekend so I probably won't make the trip. Maybe another time though!
