I think you've read and joined in the discussion about filming, after the fight scenes? There was a thoughtful post by Scip where he interpreted The Matrix's subway fight scene, which you could sum up with "I found the choregraphy pretty bad, but I liked the very clear intent/emotion behind it".
I could be wrong, but I think for most people who comment on anime it's not about the lines of the drawings being cute, but rather the attitude/emotion of the characters that are expressed. When I saw the picture in MB's post I first found it cute (not even the whole thing, just the pose struck at the instant I glanced at it), not "look at this face's features they're so lovely!" but "that's some adorable playfulness", then I immediatly thought of Scip's post when I realised it. Because I remember already posting about that (to answer you again ) and it described my approach pretty well too: it's not about the drawings, it's about what they're supposed to convey.

The fact that it's tied to anime probably has to do with the medium and how you'd find much more cheeky/light-hearted/"feel good" animes than series (edgy seems to be quite popular with all the new shows like Arrow and stuff; even photography in general is nowhere near as colourful in the TV series I see).
I mean, look at that (yup, I know, still animated, but hey it's not anime!): it's not pretty-looking, but Jake's attitude is still "cute" in that it amuses me and brings a smile.

Je peux me tromper , mais je pense que pour la plupart des gens qui l'anime commentaire sur ce ne est pas sur les lignes des dessins étant mignon, mais plutôt l'attitude / l'émotion des personnages qui sont exprimés . Quand je ai vu la photo dans le poste de MB Je ai d'abord trouvé ça mignon ( même pas le tout , juste la pose frappé à l'instant je ai regardé il ) , ne pas " regarder les traits de ce visage ils sont tellement belle ! " mais « ce est une certaine espièglerie adorable" , puis je ai pensé immédiatement du poste de Scip quand je ai réalisé il . Parce que je me souviens affichant déjà à ce sujet ( pour vous répondre à nouveau : P ) et il décrit mon approche assez bien trop : ce ne est pas sur les dessins , il se agit de ce qu'ils sont censés transmettre.
