We do have Pokemon threads, there's LD (and they don't have the highest activity either so they could use it), there's the gym thread for when we talk about that. It's not about "having a thread or not", it's about "this is the LoL OT" so we don't LR LoL stuff (or talk about it in general) but pretty much the rest is fair game. Wave says he skims anime posts, just like red skims HS posts. We can't aim to please everyone in the thread, and I'm fine with it, that way we can keep a variety of subtopics and mostly everyone can feel like they can discuss stuff they like at some point or another, it's better than just having a soft consensus about what everyone is 0K talking about. I don't even watch APEX, and when I watch melee in general I just tab out after a few rounds involving a spacie (unless the other char is one I've almost never seen and it's not getting roflstomped into the ground), but I won't throw a fit if they talk about it. Poor Cheep can barely talk about books here because most of us won't be able to share in, doesn't mean we'd chase him away or call him some hipster intellectual or something if he tried anyway. I mean we'd still do it, but just because we can, not to chase him away. Save for Ketara. But there's still a difference between free jabs and drawing a parallel to Torte. | ||
