After I recently finished Attack on Titans, I thought it was good, but overrated. Noticed people around me are praising KLK similarly to SnK, and I heard its all on Netflix too.
They pretty different series. I do think you right about SnK being vastly overrated so you'll most likely think the same of KLK as there's a lot of stupid hype around it. It's a fun flawed show much like SnK at the end of the day just instead of attempting to be serious it goes the opposite way and takes itself very lightly. I can't check out what's on Netflix as I don't have proxy setup but if something like Hunter x Hunter is on it you should give that a try after SnK.
Kill La Kill is a cheesy action show with good action, good cheesiness, excellent art and excellent music. Its plot is a little hit or miss, some people like it and some people don't.
But if you like action shows that deliberately don't take themselves seriously, sort of like Slayers or for a non animu reference Big Trouble in Little China, you'll like Kill La Kill.
Just to hop on to this. I haven't played ranked in.... 2 seasons? 3 seasons? It's long enough I have no idea but I'm currently 3-0 on my babe Leona aw yeah.
I also got a stream set up. I might stream next time I play so you guys can make fun of me. I expect to go 5-5 and end up in Bronze 4 Or I'll not finish and just know in my heart I'm Gold 2. Fun fact, I'm 3-0 with a one year old in my lap for a majority of all 3 games, get on my level.
I demand you involve your kid in the stream in some way
I guess kids are just different. Apparently even when I was like 2.5 yo I'd be content just sitting around playing with toys by myself. Good luck trying to make my little sister do that LOL
it's funny to think about it my demand for attention has been steadily increasing ever since I was born hahahaha
I haven't gotten a webcam yet and I'm not sure how I feel about it though. It would be fun with you guys but... Internet is a scary place.
Also she still tries to grab my arms and hands, wants everything on the desk, hits her hands and feet on the keyboard, wants down then up. And of course 30 min into the last game it became very apparent she needed a diaper change. A small amount of the time she likes to just sit there and watch the colors. She got super pumped about the Arclight Vel'koz.

Oh I get it. That's why I don't ever have him on stream and very very rarely post a pic.
I mean that sounds similar to what my guy does in front of the computer but I mean I can't do anything while he's smashing the keyboard or whining to get down or playing with the mouse etc. Not sure how you do it lol
Wow, and I was actually thinking about buying a duster coat. LOL
why get a duster when you can get a peacoat
I have a peacoat that i wear maybe 3 times a winter to fancy parties. Makes me feel like a boss tho. on a req duster related note; im using my indigo gift cards to buy more Dresden files books on my kobo since i kinda stopped halfway through them last time. Just finished reading The Fionavar Tapestry Trilogy which was highly praised but didn't quite do it for me. I enjoyed it but it just seemed like a Tolkien trope masturbating session. Need to find more fantasy series I haven't read yet t.t
I watched KLK and enjoyed it. It's pretty silly but a lot of fun. I enjoyed girls und panzer more for the same reasons minus so much sex.
Summed up Girls und panzer to someone after he mentioned Strike Witches which reminded me of it (had to google it because "Hannah Justina Marseille" sounds so forced a foreigner name, went "wtf" on reading the premise of the anime from the wiki, then the trivia page mentioned how she was based off of WW II German ace pilot Hans Joachim Marseille. I guess there's some shit you just can't make up).
It didn't shock me or anything but in retrospect I can see why people would go "Japanese are crazy!" upon reading the pitch. On the other hand it's just general silliness, western comics/animated series have even sillier/cornier (for the bad ones) pitches too.
Yeah well you don't feel so boss to us with how you dress up on stream Soniv. You oughta take a little more care of giving us eye candy.
