I expected a bit more of HBO honestly.
I can't stand internal monologues in film. Narrators are ok, but internal monologues on screen severely irk me.

It's all about the director doing it properly. Just having a shot of the character sitting there while he speaks his inner thoughts is obviously going to be a bit tedious but if you add in visual stimulus with dynamic shots around that monologue then it can work quite well. Narrators are just a byproduct of plays honestly and have no real place in film aside from very rare situations.

Seriously though, the Glitch Mob google play radio is amazing. I've been listening to it for 3 days straight.

As someone who enjoy's Dune and even tolerates/dare I say doesn't mind a certain child's rummaging in his dad's universe I rather enjoyed the Dune tv stuff. It was mostly accurate and it was smart enough to skip some of the more.. well unique issues with the DUNE universe. It was still weird as hell but that's kind of the nature of Dune.
What I didn't like was the look of much of the tech/things in the universe. For that I prefer David Lynch's Dune. Ideally I'd want a Dune film to be as good as the mini series, but look more like Lynch's Dune.

I just love seeing pictures of Kyle MacLaughin in that movie. As a fan of Twin Peaks, it's always hilarious to see him in a stillsuit.

I think that'd be ideal, but that's more of an aesthetic complaint. The point is the series was a much better adaptation by virtue of being, well, longer than what a 2 hour film could provide, and that's a theme that generally holds true.
I mean, hell, Lord of the Rings is 12 hours or so with extended scenes and like 9 without. Little coincidence it is an actually good adaptation of a sci-fi/fantasy book.

yeah they coulda done another movie just based on the training stages instead of ender just instantly busting out the pro strats and like 3 total games from 80% of the book LOL

I really wish they had. The evolution of the battle room strategy was fucking amazing, and I'd love an overproduced, over-CGId version of it.

When she was a little girl she was attacked by a catgirl and subject to softcore porn made from photographers at the time being there to take pictures of it. Ever since then, women have always been a subject to softcore catgirl porn! It's perpetuated by the patriarchy because fuck you, that's why, now feel bad for me and give me money.
