Wisdom teeth pain sucks. I remember in highschool after I got mine taken out, my parents decided I'd spent enough time out of school and sent me back. Sticking to the rules, they had me check in my medication at the nurse's office because students aren't supposed to walk around with prescription medication. When I went to go take them at lunch they wouldn't let me because they were narcotics. I decided to say fuck it, left class in the middle of the day and (I swear I'm not trying to old people this) walked home 3 miles in the snow in the hilly ass area I live in because the pain was too much and I had some at home.

I have like, a couple partially grown in wisdom teeth, and I think the others came down too? but I'm not actually sure. Fortunately, they don't bother me at all (except for the rare times the partials start coming down a bit more), and as far as I can tell, they've grown in pretty straight.

When I got my wisdom teeth out they were like "you're nerve that controls feeling in your jaw is real close to the root and if we hit that you'll possibly lose feeling in your jaw for a few years/forever so let's hope we don't do that.
