I'm merely referring back to awhile ago when, in response to my complaint about people posting those kinds of comments on animal videos, people here told me to stop reading youtube comments. I'm obviously not actually going to leave OT and so I safely made my own joke (+++internet smugness cookies) without having to know whether you are an insane person or just trying to be clever.

You aren't being clear. Ignoring the unexplained backstory which we can chalk up to me being an ignorant fuck -What "kind of post"? You mean trying to come off as if the animals are being abused and taking it really far or what? -I don't know why you'd draw a conclusion that I'm either insane or trying to be clever. Animals aren't exactly that complicated and I've been around enough cats and dogs to know that the cat is pissed off and would be clawing that dog if he had all limbs (not in a serious way just to get him out of the way so he can relax, you can see he is clawing him but one paw isnt enough lol) and that dog is just being a dog.

yeah it does sound dumb but generally when you explain an inside joke it always sounds dumb because they are usually something dumb that you just keep repeating and somehow its clever all of a sudden something to do with satire and context but I'm not smart enough to elaborate

In about half of the youtube videos of animals I've seen there are youtube comments there where people, 100% seriously, talk about how one of the animals is actually angry and wants to be left alone and about how terrible a person the pet owner/wildlife rehabilitator is. Your posts looked to me like the kinds of things those people say. Especially the first one. I have literally seen arguments spawned where someone said "it looks like they're playing but the one that's not moving much obviously has a paralysis common in young kitties and really just wants to be left alone!" Or "blah blah behavior seen in video means that your pet is scared of you!" And they're not even trolling when they say that (as far as it's possible to see).

I only said clever because you said clever. The point is, without me reading your mind, either you really believed what you said about the animals (which was possible, if not plausible, speaking from my youtube experience) or you were making, as you put it, a (clever) satirical joke. The inside joke I made tried to skirt both of these possibilities but, as we can see, has fallen flat on it's face at this point and mostly promoted misunderstanding.

wat i'm not saying they are terrible owners but i was 100% serious about everything I said. like a cats are slightly annoyed like 50% of the time they are awake anyway and they're the first ones to go and look for attention only to get annoyed at you 10 seconds later.
and that was a fully grown cat who clearly couldn't move 3 out of 4 limbs that's not the same as a kitten who can move all limbs but is just really really bad at it
im not sure how much of a petxpert you are but it stands to reason to me that if someone is taking a video camera and specifically trying to get a pets attention a lot of the time it's going to be annoyed at the sudden disturbance with cats all disturbances are sudden because they literally do nothing nearly all the time you could have avoided all of this by simply disputing the pet behaviour points I made instead of being super roundabout and passive aggressive to avoid conflict i mean its not like im the fucking dog whisperer i'm just making an educated guess
Generally the couple of times I have seen a cat and a dog in the same household the dog cat plays with the dog sometimes and the dog ignores it unless the cat plays with it. Its the same as when you have dogs with babies dogs learn quickly enough that that they are shitty beings and they chose.
When you said you were typing like a satirical 14 year old it made it sound to me like you weren't serious about the content of what you said at all. As a result I misunderstood your position and wrote as if you shared my opinion. I guess I came off as passive aggressive. Sorry about that, it wasn't my intent, we were just talking past each other.
I'm not about to enter a debate though. I never wanted to start one and I feel bad enough for, more or less, starting this thing. Anything else we need to clear up before we lay this to rest? I guess if there is, it should be taken to PMs.
