Just beat a handlock on turn 5 with a Dr. Boom-less Firebat Rogue deck. 7-damage dagger and 6/2 mech on turn 4. lolol

I haven't lost to it yet. hardest has been mech mage/zoolock but I've stolen a few wins from them. hunter is kinda difficult too. mulligan for your low mana drops and use spells liberally to empty out your hand and eventually the druid can't keep up with all the threats you throw down

Barely beat a Druid after I luckily got him to mill a FoN (which if he had in hand, would of killed me), opening a BGH vs. a Handlock, and outlasting a Warrior with a clutch Tree of Life. Hilarious. No better feeling than going Oracle to draw into a Natrualize, then Brewmaster back Oracle.

I've tried playing Hearthstone a bit the last week or so, and I just go ugh because like, I don't want to pay 30$ for the lich king cards. So dumb. Such a pay to win game.

That forces you to buy packs to remain competitive?! What outlandish behavior is this! I mean what kind of cruel monsters would do such a thing, lure people in and then release new cards later on that forces people to buy them so they can then in turn play with them! Seriously. Of all the Pay to win stupidity I've seen spouted on the internet this is by far the most hilariously unaware. This is better then being told exp boosts are pay to win. I am genuinely bemused and I'd like to know what card game you've played that is not like this? Digital or otherwise.

I mean, at least for magic constructed you can pay for the cards you need, rather than buy boosters til you get the card you need. Or trade cards.

Let's be real here, most cards you want in magic tend to get pretty damn pricey to a point that I know some people just buy a box rather then the cards they need as it's cheaper in the long run. Magic or hearthstone you'll be paying for something sooner or later. Trading eh you've got me on that.

I've watch nummy, and I don't know the last time he spent money on the game, and that isn't including the thousands of dollars he has in cards, which he could opt to sell if he doesn't want to put any money in.

I could say the same of hearthstone arena, if you play well in draft/arena yeah you'll earn what you spend and profit from it. You could argue magic draft is more forgiving because you keep the cards you draft but even the 0-3 arena still nets a pack. The methods may differ but again if you want to play a card game you'll have to pay and if you are not exceptional at it you'll be paying more then someone who isn't. Just the nature of the games themselves.
