Had two 60g dailies with hunter so I made a deck and I won 5 in a row, and ranked straight up to 15. I feel disgusting.

just keep in mind that with priest you don't beat the cancer. you just put a bigger and more homosexual cancer on top of it.

1) Priest, though you still need good draws; bad draws will shaft you against hunter still 2) Warrior, you need really good draws, but the inclusion of Shield Maiden is huge for Warrior Handlock vs Hunter is NOT a good matchup for Handlock, and anyone who says that is silly. Hunter has always been one of Handlocks most difficult matchups, since without an Ancient Watcher+Owl opener, and a few mortal coils in hand, Hunter damage snowballs far too fast, and Hunters can burst through that last bits of damage through taunts with hero power and kill commands. Or silence T5 taunts. Handlocks can win but god no. Druids do well vs Hunter, though it does depend on the archetype and the tech cards. And the opener. Keeper+wrath+swipe in opener will shut down non-control hunters. Freeze Mage can potentially do well against Face hunter, actually. Since Freeze Mages run x2 Ice Barriers and x2 Ice Blocks, and Face Hunter does not run flare in the deck. Freeze Mage does well in the current meta against every deck archetype except for Warrior, actually. The "no mo' flare" thing that really gated it. No Freeze Mage matchup? Pls. Also, I'm tempted to dust off my Giants mage, but eh. Freeze Mage still better. Even if Giants Mage is suppose to beat Freeze Mage.

Freeze Mage still better. he beat a mage or two, i can't remember if they were freeze mages or not, they got destroyed so quickly it was hard to tell. I have no doubt the deck day9 made is the best mage deck, it didn't lose except when he did some really stupid shit like throw away minions for nothing and miss lethal followed by saccing board control for nothing.

Technically Giants Mage should beat Freeze Mage. Save Alex to self-heal after an Iceblock, and then re-ice block. But it depends. The matchup is tricky, but Giants should always beat Freeze. I was running Duplicate Giants way back when Naxx came up. Looking at Day[9]'s decklist, there's not much difference between it or even the more modern Crusher Handmage deck. http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/104460-crusher-handmage-legendary

Do i drink it? Do i not? Also noticed they were running rather low on them in the store compared to usual. Coincidence or master-advertising.

Err, no. Handlocks crush Giants Mage. Shadowflame a Giant and boom. Hunters (regular, Midrange hunters) should crush Hand mage too unless they're bad, especially since Day[9] is only running Belchers for taunters.

I'm going to trust something with actual proof behind it rather than your opinion.

Also PX: I played Duplicate Giants ~Rank 5 for ~2 months after Naxx release. I know what I'm talking about lol. It's mostly evidence that the handlocks he played against were bad (they usually are before rank ~10), or never had experience vs Duplicate/Handmage.

Echo doesn't change anything lol, it's a win-moar card. You could already flood the board with Giants via Duplicate. Day[9]'s deck isn't even running Fireballs (I wasn't right before I dropped it in the face of the unending hordes of huntards, but still). Fireballs+Frostbolts are what made every control Mage deck good against Handlock. Flame cannon+explosive sheep, while important tech (and really far more important than Echo in shoring up Giants mage, imo: they needed an early, non-doomsayer clear, especially one that could kill a 4hp undertaker). Giants mage should be stronger, but the matchups aren't radically different. Face hunters aren't running flare (as I noted, that's why Freeze Mage is actually good against it), but it's still run semi-regularly in midrange hunter decks.
