Arrow's almost good enough for me to enjoy watching. It's so close. I watched the entire first season and a bit of the second season but it's just a tad bit too cheesy for me and I tapped out. It's no Agents of Shield though. Diggle is great, Cop Dad is not bad, the acting in general is pretty good but the writing can be hit or miss. Too much convenient drama shit like that cop lady being Diggle's ex wife all of a sudden or + Show Spoiler +

But as far as superhero tv shows go I guess it's pretty decent. Only could stomach half an episode of that Detective Gordon batman show. Haven't seen or really heard anything about The Flash.

I think that sort of thing is just part and parcel with superhero shows/comics. Like everyone has a secret connection to someone or something else, and people aren't dead unless you see them bury the body. (and even then not always). I personally like both Arrow and The Flash a lot, so of course im gonna recommend it, but The Flash is a bit more "fun" than Arrow. Its less about angsty need for revenge, (although there is a fair amount of it) and more about him discovering his powers and shit. (Also the bits where everything else is in slomotion except for the Flash I think is just the coolest shit)
The problem with the Flash is how to limit his powers. He's the strongest super hero ever, the only thing that gets him in trouble is his own stupidity. Which is dumb, considering how smart Barry Allen is supposed to be.
