Not that it's special, but many people have no need for one. Passport isn't necessary to go from state to state, and I know tons of people who have never left the country.

The US is a big country and has roughly the same amount of area as all of Europe. It's also incredibly diverse environmentally and geologically. So, practically speaking, if you want to go somewhere different for a vacation leaving the country really isn't necessary. You do miss out on a lot of interesting history and the extra opportunity to learn about foreign culture though.

I've been thinking recently after getting back into csgo. I'm really inconsistent in every competitive thing I've done. League I will literally end up 24-3 in a ranked game, queue up against the same people and end up 0-6 or csgo I'll drop a 30 bomb on mg players then get 1 clicked and end up 8-24 against nova 2s. Even in basketball I'd drop 40 points in one game then 6 the next. I don't really know where I'm going with this but it just feels weird to be that high variance in my play. Literally from decent to completely new never touched the game before.
Edit: even StarCraft I would beat a few diamonds then join a custom OBS and lose to silvers or golds. It just leaves me scratching my head. Maybe I just have competitive dissociative personality disorder

Rage... I'm the same way it just all depends on your mind's focus. I find there are periods of time when I'm playing csgo but I can tell my reaction timing is off, my positioning going into or holding sites is just fucked up. Then there are games where everything just connects. It could be the play style that the other team has is the counter to how you play. That's anther big one and all you gotta do is practice adapting to different situations in a match. If you're an aggressive player on T side dust 2 and find they are stacking two long most rounds, then switch it up and either play passive long or lower B in mid.
Lots of players play a specific way on a map and being able to quickly recognize and switch up your play to counter them, you will find your scores be a lot better.
Then there is me and being DMG I just die every fucking round cause I suck balls.

Edit: shelke that's exactly how I feel. That's definitely something to think about in cs actually. The thought of me playing the same time and not adapting didn't really cross my mind honestly

I'm curious about something. Do people talk to their soon-to-be wife/husband about costs of wedding/engagement rings before getting married? It seems really odd to me that the normal response would be to spend upwards to 3 months salary for it when they would have other costs coming up on them due to the whole getting married thing(wedding costs, honeymoon, apartment/house costs). I recently saw someone asking how much he should spend on a ring(funny enough in a random cs:go community server), and interestingly he also mentioned he was thinking of spending 3 months salary on the ring. I didn't know this was an actual thing.

I think 2-3 month's salary was generally considered the standard. I know it's changing more rapidly as people start to realize that it's a ridiculous practice and that the diamond industry is a massive scam.

Thinking about it rationally won't make sense because it's just marketing. Really ingrained marketing.

You should talk about it sure but I guess some people may not? Seems like terrible communication with someone you're going to spend the rest of your life with. My wife and I definitely talked about it and I was explicitly told not to spend anywhere near that much for the above reasons.
Not that I was inclined to but if you googled "How much should I spend on an engagement ring?" It'll probably have a bunch of recommendations for 2-3x monthly salary.
