You propose with an engagement ring and give a wedding band on the wedding day. I actually just gave my wife her engagement ring again. The design was two split bands connected as one at the bottom so it kinda looks like there's two. And of course she was ok with that so don't get on my case

Well, the time is soon-ish. Probably January. I'm going in to pay and pick a stone (already know the band and cut), then it'll be set by this weekend. I don't want to do it for Christmas or New Years, because that's way too cliche.
