There's a sort of feeling where you look at things differently and become overwhelmed by multiple concepts you hadn't thought of before. Following the living different lives thing: I work part time at a grocery store, and while talking with friends who had also worked in similar situations, we came to the stunning realization that other people had lives. It's wasn't like people were spawned into existence right before we saw them, but that these people were doing stuff right before we saw them. It sounds really obvious, but it really isn't how we think, since most peoples' views are self-centered. Even after this realization, it's hard to remind myself that these aren't just random characters given arbitrary traits, but people who have gone through the same character development as I have. I don't think I've ever had one of those realizations from dreaming, though. I tend to forget my dreams, or even if I had a dream. Is there any logic to how some people remember their dreams clearly and others don't? There's actually a word for it! Sonder I've had this type of dream since I was really little (I specifically remember an incredibly overwhelming instance of it from when I was 6 or 7), and would get them roughly once a year, usually in the spring.

But they're also pretty mundane. I guess I'm just not a tortured soul.

Business trip to Nashville for 1 month at the beginning of January, which may lead into a potentially permanent move there. Best news all day ![]() Edit: And all Rammstein albums are now on Spotify. This day just got even better!

It's snowing, I got the last mexican chicken burrito, the cafeteria restocked on Monster, the office is virtually empty, and systems are running strong. Aww. Yiss.

Ad what takes people to get a sexfriend when they're already super busy? Now they've got a new priority person to see but no any more time so you can't see them anymore. :< Geez, people and their relationships.
