Also, for the advice, maybe tomorrow I'll practice some, maybe asking my supports to actually stack camps, since no one in sub-3k (eyeballing what my unranked MMR is considering most of the people I play with/against have a sub-50% winrate and dotabuff calls it Normal skill). Because of this, my CS@10 is usually around 30 and 60-70@20, which isn't terrible considering everyone goes balls to the wall and plays like Unfair bots and grouping up at around 15-20 to teamfight.
Having to maybe work shoveling snow for ~10 hours kinda kills any desire for me to play dota.
Even on "contested" lanes and pressured farming, you should be able to make ~5 creeps a minute (45-50 CS@10). Anything less than that means you either your lasthitting is too sloppy or you're losing lanes harder than you should (barring some ridiculous laning arrangements that it's your fault for picking into, even harder lanes have enough room for outplay that you should be able to make 4-5 CS a minute).

I think there are some subtle differences, but pretty much. But I'm a huge Persona 3/4 fan so it's right up my alley.

i hear exceptional things about the game in terms of story and worldbuilding. which is all i want in an RPG, i could care less how the gameplay systems are as long as they are functional and non buggy. but its also something im going to sit on my hands for until it goes on sale in the summer.

It's still a Bioware game, so of course mainstream press is going to praise it's "story" and "worldbuilding".
It's hard for me to justify with Pillars of Eternity around the corner.

the shit i've seen talking about the game have been less articles and more friends who have the game. i tend not to read articles about games except if they are interest pieces, or something about EVE online because that game is fascinating.
