Just played a game priest vs Shaman. I'm in fatigue with rag/cairne/slyv on board and he has 5 cards left with full board but 6 hp. My rag hits his face for the win LOL. How can anyone think this game is an esport lol the esports thing was supposed to be a joke so that some washed up ex-internet famouses could actually try to win a blizzcon then people were all romanian about it let's just hope the same doesn't happen to hots :3 I think that ship has sailed. Man I think my friend is slowly going to get me addicted to MTG. Not good. I think I may try to get my old ass 4th edition cards back from my brother haha. Also still gotta write my damn character bio. Part fucking 5 whurr
whatever you do, don't start buying packs

I'm hoping to finish a pauper cube when I go home for Thanksgiving. Then I'll be able to play with cards instead of Cockatrice :D
|
Well I doubt I'll start buying packs on my own at the very least. I enjoy playing with my friend and going to the drafts he does but I don't really know anyone else who plays and don't have the time or inclination to really start studying the game or construct a deck.
Ugh so my week off next week was cancelled Good think I didn't have any plans I suppose.

Same here. Didn't matter because I could have had plans this week but I wouldn't have been able to get time off for it either.

HAPPY KBD ALARIC.
Sucks about vacation though bro

Are you guys gonna watch the comet landing?

What? Oh. 4 PM, yeah I guess. It's not like I had anything planned for these vacations anyway, it's more a case of "there's a bunch of stuff that doesn't go well atm (or hasn't been going well for long enough that it wells up" so any source of vexation gets easily tossed in the pile amongst all the rubble. I don't think I'd have done anything productive during that time anyway.
Plus I'll have taken something like 13-15 days of vacation by the end of the year, and all the public holidays we have over the US. In the end I'll probably have had more days off than you this year.

Depends on the state. In Ohio it takes quite a lot of snow to shut out schools down.

Try living in Seattle, it's up in the air if we get it even once.

I'm not sure if you guys got hit by the Hollowpocalypse (Oct 28, 2011 (edit - or was it 2010?) - my sister's wedding), but we had an absurd amount of snow fall in a very short amount of time. Much of New England was out of commission for a week. My school was one of the few open the entire time, and getting to class was a serious hazard.
I think I only had 2 snow days, and one of them was during our intersession (we were on campus for practice during winter break, but school wasn't in session). There were definitely more than a few cases where a snow day was warranted, but not granted.

On the bright side I've had school cancelled because of the THREAT of snow lol

It's at that Chicago point where it's nice and bitter, biting cold, but there's no pretty snow, just suffering.

It's just a question of infrastructure, if your city doesn't own any snow plows and nobody has snow tires, not surprising you get wrecked by an inch of snow.

Example - several major areas in the south got completely shut down last year by a dusting of snow.

What is snow?
Is that the thing that makes everyone drive like a jackass? Because that's what happens.
If texas so much as has Cold Wet Weather (like 40 degrees) everyone shits the bed and the city goes into lockdown.
