In LoL the competitive aspect of the game is somewhat diminished slightly until you unlock all of the content---in Isaac I argue your experience is not dampened because you don't own all of the items yet, If anything I'd argue Isaac becomes MORE boring once you've unlocked everything---the point at which everything becomes unlocked and you sort of have to create your own difficulty (see speed runs/races). | ||

somehow the artstyle and pixel overuse bother me compared to BoI's look (also that fucking map wtf is up with that it's complete garbage) seems like a downgrade to me, idk oh well still gonna play it a bit, maybe the items/enemies are better and that'll make up for it | ||

You can always turn that edge smoothing on ('filter off' under settings) and apparently there are some other interesting filters that can be discovered with various seeds. | ||

Even if i have everything unlocked, i still wouldnt know what it does. I'd have a whole game to explore without having to grind content out.
