That kinda sucked | ||

And nothing he can do will let him kill wolverine short of throwing him into a sun nor can he ever wield Mjollnir except as an extension of thor being used as a club. the point is hulk could fight hand to hand with the big titan but not crush him because fighting is fun. if he's not truly threatened by something hulk isn't that strong. the way he works, hulk is only ever just powerful enough to defeat his opponents. unless his opponents are regular humans. EDIT: also hulk can never beat Doctor strange while he is sorcerer supreme.because strange just puts him to sleep when he gets too annoying. A lot of this isn't true because "Hulk" is a separate personality from Bruce Banner, something that's been confirmed over and over. "Banner sleeps, Hulk does not" is a pretty famous comic quote. Banner has been put in hypnotic sleep and then "killed" but Hulk just goes berserk and prevents it from happening. Banner has straight up tried to put a bullet in his own head, but Hulk stops it. Basically, even when you think "this stops the Hulk" it only works because Bruce Banner is somewhat in control. Hulk can't pickup Mjolnir because Mjolnir is special. Beyonder straight up said his strength is literally limitless. Edit: I do agree with you about the part where Hulk pretty much fights evenly with anything he fights, because fighting is fun, and he's not angry if he's not losing, which means he's not strong(er) yet.

Dr Strange is the guy in the comic books who kicks in the door of another dimension yells, "who's the god in this bitch" goes and woops that god's ass and goes home and fucks his girlfriend.

I rather enjoy the mixing of extra dimensional vs Superhero's. Aquaman would be my favourite DC hero if it wasn't for the fact that the green lantern side of DC features a rage fuelled power-kitty.

There's SO much that you just don't catch the first time. I started rereading the series again earlier this year but stopped at Deadhouse gates(I can't handle going through it again) so I read House of Chains and first book which I forget the name. It's truly amazing how much of the story is told to you without you knowing at first. All the subtle details that just went past me now stand out and make me appreciate it so much, some of it you can't even catch on your first read through. Erikson is just a god lol. I really need to get back to it but don't think I'm emotionally ready for it. It actually makes me mad that there isn't some statue worshiping the man.
