I have an itch to get a tablet as a cool tech toy (maybe laptop replacement for the very occasional travel), wondering if it's at least somewhat worth the money. I have a Nexus 7 and I use it for the following: GPS/music in the car Play games / watch Animu while I'm in like a long line for something Web browsing if I want to be downstairs or whatever. It's not something that I really need, but for a goofy toy for playing with it's pretty fun.

Love watching things on it, play a few games with it too, decent eReader (I don't like backlit for that thought), great for browsing. If you get a keyboard attachment, you can also do some easy word processing and stuff with it (I don't like the touch keyboards for that) but that begs the "Why isn't this a laptop" question. I also have a stylus to essentially replace paper in my life. I'm upgrading to an iPad Air 2 soon I hope. Yeah I have a Nexus 7 2012, I use it to read LR threads while watching tournaments on my TV, use it to keep track of all my TV shows (Cliffhanger), manage my SAB/Sickbeard install and watch Law & Order while I go to sleep. I tried taking it to work, but I don't leave my office much so not much use to me. As for travel it was really good in Japan for watching stuff on the train and getting higher res maps than my phone.

Also I totally play games or watch netflix and stuff on it in the kitchen while I make food and whatnot. Actually I use it more than I realize once I really start thinking about it.

It's always been a blast. Hell cleaning up a pile of vomit outside a petrol station with a friend(manager shouted at us and brought a bucket with a mop) while another friend lays passes out on the floor was pretty funny experience. It's all about knowing how to have fun at whatever level you at. I end to get really emo when I go too far so like to just keep the buzz going instead. People in this thread say euros are weird...

What the fuck. A) why aren't people who are over in Africa helping out with the Ebola outbreak isolated for a day or two when they fly back. B) how dumb is the doctor when he starts to feel sick to still take the subway and go out in public.

In my short experience working at a hospital, MDs are some of the most retarded people I have ever fucking met. Like, they know their medicine, but my god are they stupid.
