Unicorn was OK, but I only saw the first two EPs, G Gundam I watched maybe 60-70%?, SEED I watched 80-90, Destiny I saw a single ep stopped. Every now and then I think about watching Wing, but never get around to it.

I don't like mecha, it's not my thing. I'd rather read/watch Shoujo or Shoujo Ai instead, and I only like a single series in those genres, and that's Saki.

I watched most of Seed, and it sucked.

TELL ME DG CELLS AREN"T FUCKING BULLSHIT.

Also, Mecha's are boring for me, the plot in SEED/G Gundam were pure WTF levels, TTGL I never bothered to watch/read because again, Mechas aren't thing.

TTGL isn't really a mecha show in the same sense Gundams are. TTGL is more about the burning passion of youth and hype levels to the max than mecha. Also how it doesn't matter how dumb you make a story as long as you just increase the hype levels by exponential amounts. It's like a scientific study.

Honestly TTGL and G Gundam are fairly similar.

Far more similar than G Gundam is to real Gundam series.

Maybe it also has to do with how little anime I actually watch, the limits of anime I've watched is basically Ghost in the Shell, every season+movie, including Arise parts 1-4, bits and pieces of FMA/Rurouni Kenshin, and then parts of various others for like 1-2 episodes.

I read a lot more manga, and mechas are pretty bad in print form :/ I'm pretty sure Prince of Tennis and Kuroko no Basket did hype better :/

Oh well, with Bleach and Naruto no longer taking up reading time, maybe I'll actually sit down and watch some of the older Gundam series, or at least try harder than when I tried to watch Zoids again, because I liked that show when I was a kid, around ~16 years ago at least. Animations were terribly synced though, so that turned me off.

I did watch Bleach a bit because I was young and impressionable and thought a girl that likes anime is pretty cool so I'll watch it with her.

After reading all 700~ chapters of Naruto and ~600 of Bleach, I feel contractually obligated to finish them, even if they're both reaching gag shounen levels (Naruto) and losing any sense of plot (Bleach).

At least Dragon Ball had interesting characters and fights to keep things interesting....

I don't deny being a nerd, I've just never gotten into the Asian culture of nerd.

Also I didn't pretend anything, I just said HS was great for me, doesn't mean I wasn't a nerd back then either, I just didn't catch any flak for it because I had other things going for me that gave me a free pass.
