... how do you even uninstall it? When I went to my installed programs list it wasn't there, neither under "Microsoft Internet Explorer" nor "Internet Explorer". Oo They don't even provide something to uninstall it cleanly? | ||

Might be under Programs and Features > View Installed Updates. I had to go this route to get rid of IE 10 when the company pushed it to everyone cuz our version of BusinessObjects is only compatible with IE 8 for now. Had to uninstall IE 10, restart computer, uninstall IE 9, restart computer, and then I was back to IE8. Or you might be able to turn it off in Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off You should have both chrome and firefox for when you need to dual browser | ||

You can uninstall IE but it requires you to edit registry files and it's not really a good idea. | ||
