I mean, that image is slightly deceptive in that you have four different B moves depending on what direction you're pressing on the stick; similarly, you have five different air A moves and eight different ground A moves. But yeah, the thing that draws a lot of people to Smash is you can do the cool special attacks pretty easily. Like, when I first played Smash, literally all I did was play Samus vs level 1 jigglypuffs and use nothing but Screw Attack and items. That was like, 15 years ago, and I had barely played any video games, and I could still do all these cool special moves. In contrast, I tried getting into Mahvel 2 a couple years ago, and after several hours of practice I still couldn't do the Shoryuken motion. | ||

Then you have KoF's fucking crual half-circle-backward forward for a special, then quarter-circle-backward half-circle-forward for a super. ;_; Can't hit that without using a special instead. When I get something. And then you've got Leona and her charged moves. Don't get me wrong, they're cool, but damn how do you as a newbie ever manage these without telegraphing them. Nah I just started 7 months ago, it just takes too much time (9am30-7pm at least) and I don't really like working in IT in the end (at least "hardcore" IT like IT consulting is). I guess I'll just leave and start developing a game. Fuck this. | ||

To work with birds though you have to really like them. Get up at 4 am in the morning, work long hours, and with every bird job there's usually some repetitive and tedious vegetation work, so you have to like birds enough to not care about that. | ||

There are very few jobs in this world that are fulfilling by themselves every single day - they will drag, you'll have days that you don't want to go in, and sometimes even the things you love will bury you under pressure until you can't handle it anymore. But, if you work somewhere you like with people you enjoy working with, the advantage is twofold. First, you'll never hate coming in. Even if you can't stand the work, if you can be around people who you can talk to or especially complain to, it takes a huge load off your chest. Second, if you are invested in the company and people therein, you will be motivated to work hard and not let them down. When you work someplace you hate, there's no incentive to do more than the bare minimum, but once you realize that your work affects the people you like, you'll make sure you don't fuck up. Anyway, that's just what I feel. I'd rather work somewhere for less money but feel better about the company than make more at a corporate drone job where I hate every second. Once you get make more than the money you need (taking into account saving/retirement, lifestyle, necessary payments, etc), the rest is just... money. I'd rather enjoy the 45+ hours I spend a week and only live comfortably, than hate myself most of my weekdays but have oodles of nice stuff that I don't need. Of course, getting both is the dream, but that's not the point  | ||

Then it got huge so I thought "how about just Elves and Tieflings." Then THAT and the Anima description was too long, so I actually have a lot of Part 3 written already.  | ||
