He tried to break into the industry for about a year before he got tired of getting interviewed but never hired by anybody. If after that he wants to let IBM hire him, so be it, he gave it a shot but he still needs to feed himself and his wifey. Purely because IBM seems like a good place to get hired. I know far too much about not getting hired for my tastes. Shit blows. Ah, I understand now, I thought you were saying IBM was a bad place. I can totally sympathize with the not hired thing, it sucks, and since my work is all temporary I'm pretty much always searching.
I still miss my job at GM back in '06 easy data entry job, good pay. Took a winter vacation where I had to cancel employment because it only made sense from the company side. Intended to pick back up with them when I got back and they were open to it... and then the housing market crashed and the program we were working on was scrapped and the job didn't exist anymore.

Rewatching the whole series after watching the last season just leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. I'm about to finish season 8 and I don't think I'm watching season 9 again.

If it wasn't for Hearthstone (and this thread) I'd probably only be playing the very occasional league game / mtg draft with my bros. There's a ton of real life stuff that's just more important. Especially if I pull the trigger on going back to school I'll be going the way of the Monte. I do miss him.
