I'd still take a nice succulent filet over kbbq 100% of the time. i definitely don't think it's as great as the rest of LA thinks it is. any time there are more than 2 people in a room here, someone says "you wanna go get kbbq?" it's a bit of a weird phenomenon. that being said, again flexing my colorado native-ness, i think chinese food is leagues above kbbq. in CO there is surely a $1.35/scoop chinese fast food buffet on every street corner, but here in LA they're a lot more rare. so whenever i've been able to get my dirty little hands on chinese food i take it. there's also a difference in the chowmein/lomein here and in CO. i really like the chinese food here | ||
