Not that makes you feel any better though. I think most people would rather have nobody than have Frudgey.
Also for the streaming, I'll stream from 3:00 - 3:15 am on Mondays. I'm sure I'll get a super huge following!

I'm genuinely curious as to why you feel that way. What did they do?

Just frustrating is all. Recent server issue have drove me pretty mad with how team fights/lanes and everything have been working out. I feel as though stability issues should be the forefront of your development cycle when it's clear it isn't or hasn't been. This mostly comes from my tech side I guess. Things like this seem small and mi neut but the people who are supposed to be on top of repair/maintenance for these issue should have lost their jobs long ago.

Speaking of awful fucking tech. Blizzard, pls. I tried to buy the new naxx wing (with gold). Now I'm down 1400 gold after only trying to buy it once, and it's only "authorizing" and has not actually give me access. Is there a way for me to contact blizzard to get my gold back? e.e

If I've learned anything from playing games so long, bug works, server stability and making sure stuff is working as intended is a god damn nightmare of a balancing act.

What's funny is blizzard has had 2 decades to figure out not to suck. And yet they still manage to do rollouts that are just as bad as anything Riot servers did when Riot was really young.

I'm fully aware of the undertaking it is. I just can't help but feel that these gaming companies lack the urgency to fix the issue that are presented on them in a timely manner. Take the riot server instability from the past 3 days. Each time they are more than likely "resetting services" on their game servers which is why the are disabling ranked for periods of time. After each of these resets they call the issue resolved and move on from there when it is just going to happen 30-60 minutes down the line once again.
When I was working desk support, if I had to disable the program to restart services only to have them break once again and NOT know what was going on and who to inform I would have lost my job in a heartbeat. Maybe I'm just being grumpy because I have gotten almost no sleep this weekend with what's been on my mind, but this level of negligence is near inexcusable.

Updates often create more bugs than they fix. 99 bugs in the code, 99 bugs in the code! Code one out and patch it all down, 1001 new bugs in the code.

I mean I've been done with WoW for quite some time now, but when I stopped, patch days were basically 100% fine, they had clearly advanced a ton since the olden days of Vanilla and TBC.
Also I'm not sure what 1994 has to do with a Hearthsone update. Nothing they did rolling out single player RTS games made them more prepared for the first patch of its kind on a new IP.
Double also, from what little I pay attention to it, HS-Naxx actually had a decently smooth launch. People were streaming it day 1 just fine, people in here were talking about having beaten all the content after a few hours with no complaints other than the binary difficulty of the AI's decks/hero power/how the AI played.
Blizzard still seems to be by far the best of the 'major' development studios at this thing(Valve maybe getting up there. TF2 mega updates tend to go very well, and Dota2 problems seem to be related to random server issues rather than specific patch day things, although 'patch day' tends to involve like 5 client restarts for quick 1 line bugfix patches). If they still relatively suck at it, all it shows is how difficult this shit is to do well.

I don't pretend to know much about servers, but wouldn't just having more then enough servers to handle a launch/update/big numbers days just kinda be a money sink when most of the time they don't need that many? I dunno.

The one day this week that should be "short" day and I probably won't stream until like 5-6PM, if at all seeing as my buddy got back from his trip to Africa. We'll see though, he's probably going to be delirious, but you never know, he barely sleeps anyway.

If you just want to battle Pokemon Showdown is still the best way since it removes a lot of problems about this. Although if you want a nice team in your actual game to show off or whatever that's different. Fwiw, Nintendo VGC tournament rules only allow Pokemon that haven't been PokeBank'ed and there's a lot of speculation about what Move Tutors are appearing in ORAS so fear not! (The remakes have always had Move Tutors.)

It's part wanting to have the team and part the ownership. Showdown's cool and all but having the pokemon in game is something entirely different to me at least. I enjoy working for things so it's not all bad. I mean I've been making progress and I don't mean to sound negative about it at all because again I enjoy working for stuff long term.
I'm like halfway to that adorable fairy eevee I want so that's awesome.

2 or 3 more hours until the end of this meeting and then it is the weekend. I am so exhausted right now.

There was a lot of lag release day for Naxx too. Left my hearthstone up trying to authorize a wing purchase before reading about the bug. I'm sure it will be fine, didn't have time to play this morning anyways.

Last night the Smite servers were having a bit of lag, and people were getting real mad. I kinda just chuckled as I remembered that companies like Blizz and Riot still have server issues and that it just happens sometimes.
