Have you ever actually gotten somebody who has legitimately NEVER seen Star Wars before to sit down and watch all 6 movies in one sitting? Because I have done it both ways, and they enjoy it more if they watch the new trilogy first. People typically don't like to read/watch stories that go middle>ending>beginning. | ||

You watch 4,5,6 because it's order didnt need a prequel to make things understand if anything watching 123456 RUINS much of 4,5,6 thanks to you obviously knowing who lukes dad is, that luke and leia are related etc.. If you want to include them for first viewing you go Machete order Episodes 4,5,2,3 and 6. You cut episode 1 because fuck episode 1. | ||

No, but they do like watching two self-contained stories even though the second one they watch chronologically comes before the first. Just like you should play Kingdom Hearts before playing Birth By Sleep. Not that any particular order makes that series make more sense, it just is more enjoyable if you play them in that order. | ||
