On Petyr, they make him obvious in the show because of the medium. It's much more subtle in the books. And finally, I'll be streaming HS. twitch.tv/lortolk

Just got home, house to myself, canadian border customs guy let me take over a 60 instead of a 40 without paying the $20 taxes i should have for going over limit, league is patched, turn down for what. Filled up a giant mug with: 1 monster khaos, 1 coke zero, top it off with captain morgan's spiced rum (they didn't have gold in 60s) Canadians say avoided a ticket weird. I think. it wasnt a ticket as much as a legal custom tax that was avoided. btw if you havnt already you should kick me from the clan till i get set back up ![]()

But you were up until 5am drinking over a bottle of vodka. And your grass is like 3ft tall because your mum is a slacker and you just moved back in. And his lawnmower broke so you've got 2x strimmers. Today...today is gonna suck.

Third set of stretch goals inc? they'll probably do something lazy like: extra immortal for every compendium holder per million above 10 mil. and it'll probably work. its crazy to think that if they hit 11.5 million they will be awarding more in 1 tournament than any other esport has had awarded in its history. The summit finals have begun, should be pretty good. tournaments got a cool atmosphere and the games have been good for those who like watching dota.

Looks like they'd need to hit 12 million atm to make that claim. http://www.esportsearnings.com/games Not surprising since a lot of the money going to LoL players is from salaries and not tournament prizepools. It's a pretty ridic prizepool though. Dota players are pretty hardcore.

The Summit games have been ridiculous so far, DK vs the winner of EGvVici should be good as well.

I'd say more money has gone to prizepools in the history of lol than salary, that'll change in the future at the pace they are going, but until now? your looking at like 150k a team per year. 2 years of salary and 16 teams. thats 4.8 million in salaries for LCS. it'll take a few years for lol salary to catch up to its prizepool, unless korean players have made more than 7 million in 2 years, but that doesn't seem likely.

It's a pretty ridic prizepool though. Dota players are pretty hardcore. LoL salaries such a huge chunk of prize money. Riot spends so much LCS per year, especially since there's 2 splits. I would actually be far more interested in actual player/team salaries, as that's usually a better indicator of money in the scene. I'm sure with the twitch streaming numbers and subscriber/donations LoL dwarfs the rest of the competition.
