Hey are you the kid that had the best blink stalker micro in the whole world back around season 2 or 3 of wcs america 2013? if so, i remember you completely slaughtering some zergs on shakuras plateau. God dang, was it huk that kept you out of the ro16??
Oh, and if you go to the link and scroll to the very bottom, there are two faqs that answer your question. yes you have to buy a ticket and sign up using a form that they link.
I guess "no invites" means noone gets payed trips, or is it something else? Can someone confirm if invited players were getting their travel costs covered last year?
During the EPT years, players who qualified through the regional or GSL get paid trip, the rest do not. I assume there will be no paid trip this time as there is no regional tournament.

That is exactly what it means. Teams or players have to pay for travel costs.

Lots of top players will attend. SC2 stage is next to chess.
Casting and observing will be done long-distance (ZG, Piggy, Wardi, probably missed someone? +Indy observing). No Rotti on the main broadcast unfortunately due to travels/scheduling conflicts. Indy mentioned production will likely be done from Katowice.
There's a good chance a full player list won't be available until after everyone checks in in person as it's open sign-up.
I am hyped to be there. I knew I should have signed up to get crushed in the tournament, but I know I won't be there in time on Friday and I would hate to be a no-show.
Looks like they're barely gonna fill half the bracket. I wonder if they accelerate the tournament, or they're just gonna be fine with Day 1 being extra short (the games were gonna suck anyway).
