Hello everyone,
I want to thank everyone, especially the players, partnered casters and our lovely admin Pie for this first season of Monday Night Weekly ! But as some of you have notice, i wasn't able to secure regular funding to keep up with the donation goals every week so I decided to take a needed pause in MNW, but this is not the end.
Monday Nights Weekly will be BACK September 1st 2025 ! Every single cent of the Ko-fi will go to providing cash prize for the 6 first editions of the 2nd season of MNW ! I will also raise money through sponsors during the summer in order to sustain a full season of Monday Nights Weekly from September 1st until December 22nd, every monday except for schedule conflicts or unforseen issues !
Prize Pool will remain unchanged, except for the Zerg performance cash prize
1st - $200
2nd - $100
3rd - $60
4th - $40
MNW #21 : September 1st 2025, 6pm CET
MNW #22 : September 7th 2025, 6pm CET
MNW #23 : September 14th 2025, 6pm CET
MNW #24 : September 21st 2025, 6pm CET
Live : Casting is open to all previously approved ESL Open Cups casters ! IF you weren't previously approved, contact me to confirm

Small update !
Rotterdam generously offered a 25$ bonus for the highest placing zerg. As those online cups don't seem to attract quite as many zergs as they do terrans and protosses, we want to encourage more zerg to come and play those events.
Also, we added a lower bracket, Bo1 :
Loser bracker : Bo1, maps don't change : First round [HypONE] [1v1] sugomA, 2nd round Hellscape (2.0), 3rd [TLMC17] Erreholm, 4th Ley Lines, 5th FrostLines LE, 6th Eldorado , 7th Whispers of Gold, 8th Amygdala, 9th Ultralove, if there are more rounds, map picks resume at the 1st map and follows the same order. If the player coming from the Lower bracket wins the finals in Bo5, they play it all in a Bo1 bracket reset !

As said in the first post of this thread, the first 8 edition are fully funded, but as we still wait to hear from ESL, we wanted to be able to support more editions and cannot expected a few very generous donors to finance most of the cash prize. To this end, we have opened a page on the donation platform Ko-fi. Every single dollar will go toward funding futures editions. We're already halfway through the 9th edition's funding, thanks to everyone that already contributed and thanks in advance to everyone who will, every little bit helps !

Hello Everyone !
I am happy to announce, we raised enough money through the community for editions 9 and 10 of Monday Night Weekly ! As we still await for news from ESL for a circuit, we would love to keep up this event and keep on making it evolve (TLMC has been going on lately, maybe more crazy maps for our entertainment ??!).

You're right ! I edited the first post. Unfortunatly, this week (12th of May), the event did end up not being funded. So MNW 17 is postponed to Monday 19 of may (as some monthly payements on the Ko-Fi platform should complete the cash prize in time for next week)

Hello everyone !
MNW 19 will take place tonight ! Thank to the funding of Rotterdam, HeroMarine, some left overs from the paypal a bit from myself. After this one, we will pause Monday Nights Weekly until after tEWC, maybe september so players and viewers alike wont miss out during their vacations. I will be raising money all summer long for futur editions in 2025 and will try to find sponsors to not rely as much on donations anymore

This is actually the perfect venue for actually live-testing a controversial patch that people have been theorycrafting endlessly about.
Playing this tournament is much much much more useful than making post 934839089 about how it's an awful patch
