you don't need 20 builds for a bo3, gogo Creator!
|
Creator already on tilt Old Creator is back, sorry Creator fans, he won't get to another finals
|
Cool to see Creator fighting back. Pretty fun game 2.
Although I do really look forward to a good RTS without disruptors coming out.
EDIT: No forge :O
EDIT2: GG Cure!
|
|
This is going to be a painful group for Creator, isn't it? Could easily go 0-4 if he tilts
|
Let's see if ByuN worked on his late game or if he's just gonna live and mostly die by the marine tank
|
Is beating Maru in TvT the hardest thing you can do in sc2?

Not a bad game from Byun. It seemed like Byun reaper micro was his lucky charm.

Maru is incredible wow! Nice bo3 from ByuN though, definitely made Maru sweat
|
lol that Marine's repair and Marines drops in the last game saved Maru day.
|
Just... How? After Byun found the "hidden" third and set up with lib on the nat I thought it was over 100%. goddamn Maru
|
Why use SCVs to fight M&M? Just run.

Why the hell did DRG let that Bunker finished? He only need to stick 1 ling behind to deny it.
|
It's weird to see DRG win without using Mutas.
|
lol Cure, fusion core instead of armory

Crazy how it's two players who have played for a decade...
one ALWAYS had the killer instinct
the other barely overcame it for 2 months that one time

Gumiho woulda made an entire build out of that accidental Fusion Core on the spot and won the match

oddly fitting

Maru just pull another ape-maneuver on that game 2, there was no reason to do multi drop when Creator wasnt expanding as quickly. All he needed was to turtle at home on 3 base, get the Ghost out and gg. How bad your game sense must be to not see that? Seems like Maru like to be aggressive today for no real reason, the same against Byun. Maybe beating Invictus was in WTL make Maru think that he can just micro his way to a win easily.

Speaking of which, fighting stimmed marines and medivacs with pure queens and no zerglings is one of them (and yes, I know he was supply blocked) This group is gonna end with everyone at 1-1 or what
|
Tasteless doesn't know what a 2-1-1 is omg
|
I rewound the video, it was widow mine friendly fire + 1 baneling in the front
|
ByuN's inability to split strikes again
|
Seems like all the players in group B met before today and decided that each of them will get a win today.
Cure got a win? Lets confuse Armory and Fusion Core Maru got a win? Lets play nonchalantly and die to a simple proxy Stargate and Blink Stalker. DRG got a win? Lets march Queen into stimmed Marine Medivac.

Could not watch Maru vs Creator live, impressive that Creator won that one but Maru is already in danger with « only » a 2-1 win and a 0-2 loss :/. He can’t lose to DRG again

Is he lucky? Or is he just a WINNER?

Boooo, DRG doesnt follow the script

Can't wait for the old men GuMiho and DRG to meet in the finals

This group is exactly what it promised to be.

But the funny thing is most of the time he fell behind in those situation was because he went unnecessarily aggressive earlier.

I just watched that Maru vs ByuN series. Unreal! Maru vs T is something else...
|
Honestly disappointed with Byun's TvZ. Almost throws first game after fatal damage early, then goes for two troglodyte all ins game 2 and 3. Wish he'd work on his late game skills, it feels like he's like "I do crippling damage or win with early-mid aggression or I lose".

That doesn't mean he doesn't switch it up, especially considering TvZ meta.

You mean the late game TvZ meta he created? or which meta?

I'm 1/5 and 3/5 not great

Man what a great Ro10 this has been so far. A little disappointed that everyone didn't go 1-1, but it's almost equally great and hilarious to have Gumiho and DRG topping the two groups after Week One.
Really just a great time to be watching SC2 after the last patch & map changes in terms of gameplay and competitiveness and fun. Can you say "Highest Parity Era"?
|
i dont know why ByuN decided to cheese the last 2 games. i believe he could have won another "normal" game after the failed scv pull well its is what it is. fun group overall.
|
The Maru//Byun series was amazing. Congratz to both competitors , the mapmakers and Blizzard's former game designers for creating such incredible game play moments. SC2 remains an absolute masterpiece of an RTS game.

Wow this is refreshing to hear on TL. I agree SC2 is an amazing RTS, it's gotten to such a beautiful place.
