He should have like 8 tanks defending at home and would smash that attack from Soo He also was on a terrible economy due to his committed 2 base aggression being shut down, so I think he just couldn't afford more. Yeah, but he bought so much time with those drop and Lib dealing massive damage, double factory might not be possible, but having 4 tanks defending was a bit weird. he also lost like 4 tanks with his first push

If Byun followed up with medivacs after the ghosts production, he may got a chance before the swarm hosts were produced.
Anyway I got 2/2 for my liquibet.

These are the players who never won Code S title but made several achievements : Soo, herO, Creator, Trap, and Solar. To lesser extent, Bunny and Zoun because they never won big tourney but have made into the semifinal/final several times.
I am happy if anyone of them eventually attains the trophy for this season.

i can beat soO with mech and save my real strats for the next rounds Even a post-military soO is good enough to beat mech, says a lot about the comp I have hears from a.second hand source that soO practiced a lot with SuperNova, a former code S Terran turned streamer. He was one of 3 Terrans in the least balanced race representation of code S. The same source said that SuperNova is about rank 10 GM on KR ladder. I tried using sc2revealed to confirm. That placed him on place 46, 700 MMR from #10. Side note: #2 on ladder is Creator offracing as Terran with 6856 MMR.
They key piece of info is that SuperNova is almost exclusively playing mech. If soO has practiced ZvT with SuperNova then soO has played a lot vs mech.

damn the last minutes looked promising for ByuN but wasnt enough i really didnt think Bunnyjwa was going to qualify. Congrats to Bunny and soO!

soOjwa hwaiting!!! May the great Kong finally claim the elusive GSL crown!
Any of his games worth watching? soO's gameplay tends to be rather one-dimensional. But he did pull off a fun roller coaster run to defeat Inno in TSL before military.
