Apprentice Esports SC2 Circuit

Announcing the Apprentice Esports SC2 Circuit, a short 4 month circuit with the goal of giving amateur/semipro level players events to participate in before the EPT 2022/2023 circuit officially kicks off in May. Details of the circuit may be found below.

Circuit Events

NA Apprentice
The NA Apprentice is a month-long GSL style tournament for NA / LATAM players. It features a $400+ prize pool and awards qualification points for the Grand Finals.

Apprentice Cup
The Apprentice Cup is a weekly single elimination cup for NA / LATAM / EU players. It features a $25+ prize pool and also awards qualification points for the Grand Finals.

Matches will be streamed on Beomulf's channel. Be sure to follow him on Twitter and Twitch!

Last Chance Qualifier
As the name implies, the Last Chance Qualifier is the last opportunity for players from the NA Apprentice and Apprentice Cup standings to qualify for the Grand Finals.

8 players will be invited to the Last Chance Qualifier:
• 8th - 11th place finishers in the NA Apprentice standings
• 8th - 11th place finishers in the Apprentice Cup standings

Grand Finals
The Grand Finals is the culmination of the Apprentice Esports SC2 Circuit, where the top performing players from the NA Apprentice and Apprentice Cup standings will duke it out.

The 16 participants will consist of the following:
• Top 7 players of NA Apprentice standings
• Top 7 players of Apprentice Cup standings
• Top 2 players of the Last Chance Qualifier

How does this circuit work?

The Apprentice Esports SC2 Circuit features 2 main events: NA Apprentice and Apprentice Cup. These events award players with prize money and circuit points for the Grand Finals.

There are separate point standings for NA Apprentice and Apprentice Cup. The top 7 players of each standing will qualify for the Grand Finals. The next 4 players from each standing will get invited to the Last Chance Qualifier where they can fight for the final 2 spots.

Who can participate in this circuit?

Any player who meets the following eligibility requirements can participate:

NA Apprentice
Any NA / LATAM citizen/resident that has not reached the top 4 of a 2021 DH NA or top 2 of a 2021 DH LATAM.

Apprentice Cup
Same requirements as NA Apprentice but also allows any EU citizen/resident that has only qualified for a 2021 DH EU Group Stage once.

Last Chance Qualifier / Grand Finals
Anyone eligible for NA Apprentice and Apprentice Cup may participate.
