He just needs more practice in how to work the mic. He sounds muffled and quiet next to Artosis. i've watched him for a while, so many i'm just used to how he speaks, but can understand the comments about enunciation
I mean I am too, and it's fine for his personal stream, but when he's sitting next to Artosis who sounds so clear and professional next to him, his lack of sounds so clear. So just something he can and should work on if he wants to do stuff like this more often.

yeah, I have the audio way louder than I normally would to try and hear what he's saying

Byun must be so happy that Percival still could not beat him as Percival claimed him as idol before.

Maybe it's cos im a serial mumbler but I can understand Special completely fine and his delivery doesn't bother me at all, especially considering what he's bringing to the cast. Not saying the audio is ideal but I guess people have different sensitivities to these things. As long as I can understand everything someone says, I'm not fussed.
Also, I think Artosis has always been a good combo with someone more analytical/more specific meta game knowledge. In recent years, he's relied more on just good fundamental RTS knowledge rather than current sc2 meta knowledge, so when someone brings that up to date meta analysis, Artosis compliments it really well and the casts are great. Maybe not the hilarity of Tastosis but the actual game discussion is so much better.

Look I can understand him fine, but I'm just saying as someone that's spent some time behind the mic, I can hear when someone sounds muffled and quiet next to their companion. For someone not familiar with how Special usually sounds, or for someone that isn't in your words a "serial mumbler" it can be hard to hear and it makes the cast sound less professional than it usually does with Tasteless behind the mic. That's all.
Special can be and will be a good caster, but he just should learn how to work a mic better that's all. Or the audio engineers need to adjust to his speaking style better. Either or. It's a small criticism, I don't mind his commentary at all, in fact I'm enjoying it. I just bring this up so that on the off chance he reads it, it he takes it to heart to practice his mic skills a little, that's all.

Oh Gumiho

Gumiho just needed another season to qualify into Code S.

I'm always rooting for Gumigod, but I'll take another 3/3 for my LB, too.

This day was very easy for liquibets, poor Gumiho though. He even has troubles producing scvs 3 by 3

2/3 tonight. I made a risky gamble betting against Byun, but I see now that he's still too good to fall in Code A, and Percival is still not quite up to snuff. Never felt like I was risking anything betting on sOs and Solar though. As much as I love Gumiho, it wasn't good luck to be facing Solar in his best match up coming back right out of the military.
5/6 so far. Should put me in the 50's I think for the LB's so far.

I've enjoyed this casting duo, felt very natural and refreshing even considering Special's enunciation With practice he'll get better for sure, and I really like all the gaming insights he's bringing to the table
Games were also interesting, poor Byun still suffering from wrist injury, hoping he'll have a decent season

Not sure what people are fussed over, Special sounded pretty fine to me. And his casting was great. Always love hearing analysis from actual pros.

Game 2 and 3 of sOs vs Ragnarok. Game 3 was pretty long.
Game 1 of Byun vs Percival where Percival managed to comeback after losing much SCVs at the beginning.
Even though Solar vs Gumiho was completely swept in favor of Solar, the game looked a bit unique in term of the way Solar quickly used queen drop whenever he tried to move his ground units in/out creep.

Special+Arty casting was really something I'd like to see again, very enjoyable. Also good lord I have not seen sOs play that clean of a ultra late game in a long time
