EDIT: And, I'm wrong. Still think a better player can convert that with earlier charge.

Well you did kinda leave out a few events between that GSL and Katowice and that other GSL. Like a GSL where Rogue lost in the first group stage.

Time out Elentos. Are you really going to suggest that Rogue losing to Scarlett like THAT was somehow an indication that he is an inconsistent player? Don't do it! That series is not a black mark on Rogue, it's more that Scarlett and NoRegret prepared one of the cleverest cheesiest bullshit series that happened to knock out a heavy favorite in a Bo3. Considering that Rogue still has one of the most impressive records in professional Starcraft (Undefeated in offline Bo7s.) I'm more than willing to completely overlook being cheesed out of one ZvZ Bo3.

Yeah, if Rogue had actually had back to back GSL/Katowice/GSL wins, i don't think anyone would call him inconsistent. Rogue had 2 first round losses in super tournaments between Code S season 3 and Katowice, then he lost in the first round of Code S between his Katowice and Code S season 2 wins. If alternating between first places and first round exits isn't inconsistent, I don't know what is

He had a really surprising and impressive run through the NA qualifier, but he's just out of his weight class against top level pros.

Rogue is the only player in the world who could win a Katowice and 2 GSLs in a year and people would shit on him for the GSL he did not win. If it was anyone else they would be getting called banjo and GOAT.

And there's supposed to be a multi-tier difference between those Zergs. And yes, I'm just gonna say it, what Scarlett did there wouldn't have worked against Serral.

He's absolutely one of the greatest ever, there's no arguing that, but how can you not see that among top players, he is the epitome of inconsistense?

Oh Serral, you mean the guy that ELAZER knocked out of TSL5? You don't think Scarlett could knock him out of a Bo3 if she had prep time like she did vs Rogue? Come on now. EDIT: Knocked down, not out. Reynor knocked Serral out of that tournament. Two ZvZ's he lost in that same tournament.

Consistency to me is winning often and when it matters. Its not about how many group stages you win. Who even remembers who won Super Tournaments in 2018? All people remember from GSL in that year is Maru. As is said, when it comes to Rogue a different metric is used

You are doing the build designed to punish blind bio-mine play. Then you die to mines because you did not bring detection. What the hell?
