Its not really a typical response anymore. Most of the time the mass vikings one shot 2-3 carriers and then the carriers turn around and just shred the low hp vikings. Other times the terran overmakes vikings and then the toss just wins on the ground. Most pro terrans generally agree you cant let toss get to carriers and when scouted they do a pretty all in timing to just kill the toss before they get to the doom carrier amount.
Otherwise you have to run around killing bases (what maru did) and get to a good bc count which counters carriers.

Window mines are more less the size of a regular window, hence the name, obviously. So actually the mines are bigger than some marines, though not as big as HeroMarine of course.
