Talk about a carry. Yeah, he went 18-4 including the seeding match vs. OG. Crazy good. Dropped games to Inno, Solar, PartinG and Patience. Not unbeatable! Could it be P1 was hoping for a revive on Maru to have PartinG available for super duper mega ace vs Rogue? That thought process makes the most sense to me as well. Ideally they'd have PartinG vs. Rogue, and FanTaSy vs. Maru. But that's the thing about Jin Air, I guess: such a deep line up. They could've even sent Cure for the TvT snipe against FanTaSy in the ace, had PartinG been sent out as the revive. Obviously the ace match is where you have Cure run to the hotel and wake up sOs so he can play.

I missed most of the games, what happened between Rogue and Fanta for special to talk about a Nydus nerf before blizzcon on Twitter?
Happy JAGW won, they are the Korean team after all.
Nice fight from the other teams though

So cool! Great pro league series. Reminded me a lot of korean proleague a long time ago. Hopefully Serral and Stats can join as well. TY and Dark had already chosen their team. Why would Serral ever want to join this league? It's just actually not at all convenient for European players. Because the match has to play on Korea server, so it is not suitable for player who lives on Europe or America. However, since Nogret has a team house in Korea, anyone who lives there can play, such as Special and Scarlett, and probably Astrea next season. Actually I hear rumor that the billionaire owners of KaiZi and DPG said they would try to contact Serral and Neeb with very high salary before, but I don't hear any subsequent results at all. It's a rumor, scboy said they don't want their billionaire friends to use too high salary to disrupt the market.

I just saw Maru vs Firefly g1, how do you win vs canon rush btw? Is there a link to a pro hold? The only time I beat it is when I was gonna proxy the protoss so I can get a proxy factory, but I don't remember holding it when going normal build

We almost never see cannon rushes against terran in the first place, because they aren't that good.

"We don't want people to invest too much money in SC2" is very much a Chinese only problem.

One of them is #2 on Dota2 TI9 compendium, and he barely plays dota. We don't call them Kaizi for no reasons.
BTW, Rouge is 18-4 this weekend, absolutely beast performance.

Fabulous games! Rogue just punched through almost everyone (I'll give him credit for acknowledging balance issues as well). The spirit of our only Lord FLASH lives on in Fantasy when he pulled out the ruler. Valiant efforts, game me flashbacks of him in his Brood War days. And Firefly made good on his promise in interview that he will take down Maru. I counted 7 or 8 bunkers in total from Maru in the 2nd game lol.

If that money is spent on tournaments instead of individual salaries it would be much harder to invest "too much".

Exactly! Up the pricepool, maybe Foreigners come running to this all on their own

I think we should be happy that some rich guys are willing to pay some of the best koreans to play in this league. I mean, thats the first big teamleague we have since 2016! If the league is successful, there will be more sponsers.

Indeed.
Without this league many of the korean pros would me making much less money, aspiring pros would have less of a chance to join a good team and becoming pros and we would not have great content.
I'm glad this crazy ass rich chinese dudes like starcraft.
Lets hope Blizzard still loves it.

Absolutely. I think CTC is the best thing to happen to SC2 in 2019.
